    White House tries to subvert Trump's U.S. Gulf plan

    First on Fox: The White House is following plans for Democratic lawmakers who hope to subvert Republicans to make President Donald Trump’s U.S. Gulf change permanently.

    The House Rules Committee, the ultimate gatekeeper before most legislation, is considering a bill before the whole family votes to get Trump to decide to stop waters called the “Gulf of Mexico” in the southeastern United States.

    White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly told Fox News numbers, “Democrats have won so much for Trump’s Danger Syndrome and are obsessed with hindering the president’s agenda that they will last the United States forever.”

    “As President Trump said, the Gulf of America has long been an indispensable asset to our nation. All future generations should be able to recognize this beautiful body of water as a symbol of America's greatness.”

    Four Democrats filed an amendment to subvert the legislation, and although given the committee’s Republican majority, no one could pass it.

    The first measure led by Rep. Jared Huffman will restore a similar Trump decision to name McKinley Hills Alaska. The highest peak in North America is former President Barack Obama stripped his assassinated predecessor from the hills in support of Mt. Denali, the name originally given by the indigenous people living in the region.

    Trump signed an executive order on his first day of office this year to restore McKinley to his name.

    Rep. Darren Soto's Second Amendment is intended to limit Trump's ability to issue oil and gas drilling leases in the Gulf region.

    Meanwhile, Rep. Maxine Dexter, D-Ore. An amendment, if passed, would prevent the Trump administration from “retribution” to news organizations that call the region the Gulf of Mexico.

    Even after Trump's executive order, the group continued to mention the Gulf's former name, the White House blocked access to Associated Press journalists. A federal judge next month ordered the revocation of the White House.

    Rivas told Fox News Digital that the U.S. Bay renaming was a “vaginity project” that “no need to be completed” in response to the White House statement.

    “Millions of Americans are struggling with President Trump's economic policies, and Republicans in Congress have yet to propose a legislative proposal to reduce groceries, protect health care or reduce housing costs,” Rivas said.

    The bill is expected to vote sometime this week.

    This is one of the legislation that House Republicans are pushing forward to make Trump’s execution behavior permanent.

    Trump's executive order renaming the Bay was one of the first actions he took in his second term.

    The remaining three Democratic offices that Fox News Digital Numbers commented did not return at press time.
