Former Juventus star Paul Pogba has several options after leaving the club earlier this season and can continue playing in Europe in the 2025-26 campaign.
The French midfielder officially left the old lady in mid-November last year, but his doping ban ended in March, so he is now open as a free agent.
The 2018 French World Cup champion recently sent a message to his Instagram followers confirming that he is working on his comeback.
“Just a little news, no big deal. Just a guy who still desires a comeback, he trains himself but never gives up.”
“Chasing his dream and what he wants to achieve. Now, all of you have a little bit of information that you don't get what you want now, but keep working until you get it. It might be tomorrow or a year or two, but what will happen is going to happen, which means it will happen, so you'll see you soon.”
Italian website Siti Scommesse Non Aams listed the old lady as the clear title contender for the event when Pogba returned to Juventus for a second spell in 2022, but Pogba failed to contribute in a small portion of the campaign due to repeated injuries.
He played only six games in 2022-23, appeared only twice in the following campaign, and did not compete in a doping test in August 2023 after a Serie A match with Udinese.

Pogba now has no contracts and many clubs are related to ensuring their services.
Former Givendus star Mehdi Benatia is now Marseille sporting director and recently opened the door for Pogba in the 2025-26 season.
“He is a player, President Longoria and the man I admire,” the front guard said in February.
“We thought of him, we wanted to do that, but does it make sense to bring in a POGBA that is not in physical condition yet? The risk is that the balance of the team at the end of the season with a player who is not in his best shape. But if the opportunity arises, if there is a chance, we're happy to be a player like Pogba who can help us in the next campaign like Pogba.”
MLS Side Inter Miami and Pavel Nedved's Al-Shabab, a Saudi professional league team, also has ties to former Jews and Manchester United stars, who are preparing to resume his football career at the age of 32, after considering retirement due to his doping ban.
“I have a lot of thoughts in my mind, and even a lot of thoughts to stop the game,” Pogba admitted in October.
“I thought: ‘What am I going to do?’ If it was four years, you started doing math in your mind, and it was four years of training, which club would want me?
“But on the other hand, I'm obviously confident and I'm very positive. I know I didn't do anything wrong on purpose, so thankfully, this happened and they reduced it.”
