Fox News confirmed that West Point has disbanded many identity-based clubs at the Military Academy to comply with President Donald Trump’s executive orders and the guidance of the new Pentagon.
Some clubs that the university no longer approves include the Asia Pacific Forum, the Korean-American Relations Seminar, the Latin Culture Club, the National Black Engineers Club and the Women’s Engineers Association Club.
The U.S. Military Academy Communications Office said the club was disbanded because it belongs to the DEI office.
“Under recent guidance, the U.S. Military Academy is reviewing programs and activities related to our former Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion,” the office told Fox News Digital in a statement. “The club that dissolved yesterday was made by the office. Sponsored.”
