China

China has said it wants to work with the United States to resolve trade issues as Trump has threatened to impose new tariffs on the Asian country.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said Beijing "is willing to strengthen dialogue and communication with the United States, properly manage differences, and expand mutually beneficial cooperation."

Russia

President Vladimir Putin said Moscow welcomed the Trump team's statement about "their desire to resume direct contact with Russia," which was terminated by the outgoing administration through no fault of ours.

"We also heard his remarks about the need to do everything possible to prevent World War III. We certainly welcome this," Putin said in a video address.

NATO

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte said the military alliance in Europe and North America "will accelerate defense spending and production" as Trump returns to office.

Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that under Trump, "the best days of our alliance are yet to come."

"Working together again, we will elevate the U.S.-Israel alliance to even greater heights. I believe we will once and for all defeat Iran's axis of terror and usher in a new era of peace and prosperity for our region," he said in a video address.

He thanked Trump for his efforts to free Israeli prisoners from Gaza, adding that he looked forward to working with him "to destroy Hamas's military capabilities and end its political rule in Gaza."

Palestine

President Mahmoud Abbas said Palestine was ready to work with Trump to achieve peace "guided by a two-state solution based on international legitimacy."
