"I'm superstitious," North said in an interview with Ryan Manion's "Flexible Life" podcast.

"I actually have to listen to a certain playlist to prepare for the game. There are a lot of other superstitions."

From that playlist, North even has a first-choice song to prepare her to play, especially when she plays from Boston College from 2021-22 after transferring from Duke.

That song is Dropkick Murphys' famous "I want to ship Boston."

"It's our song, we always end up in the locker room, and then we compete at Boston College. Whenever I hear it in the world, it reminds me of some cool moments."

“Prepare for some big games, whether it’s a national championship or another game this season.”

North also competed in the U.S. Women's National Lacrosse team, which won a gold medal at the World Hockey Championship in July 2022.

In 2024, she played on Team 1, the first women's national bull hockey team in the United States. Team USA won the gold medal in the World Lacrosse Women's Box Championship in September 2024, which beat Canada 10-7.

She led the U.S. team with goals (25), ranking third (31) in the game.
