The Toronto Maple Leafs have forced their game 7. Now, they will try to change their history in a decisive second round against defending champion Florida Panthers Sunday night.

In Game 7, the Maple Leafs' six-game winning streak was the second longest active streak after the Colorado Avalanche (7). Toronto lost its last two home games and has not reached the finals since 2002.

In Game 7, the Panthers' path was 2-0. They also won Game 7 last season to avoid a historic collapse against the Edmonton Oilers and win the Stanley Cup.

Brad Marchand, who was awarded by the Panthers at the trade deadline, scored 4-0 in Game 7 against the Maple Leafs.

Sergei Bobrovsky will strengthen his game, especially the Eetu Luostarinen-Anton Lundell-Marchand Line will continue to be a strong series. William Nylander will bring hope to Toronto fans, but look for Florida to win the road.

Jace Evans: Black Panther 3, Maple Leaf 2. I wouldn't be surprised if Maple Leaf won this game. They are very good! But I didn't pick them until I saw this group do it. They were 0-5 in Game 7 of the Auston Matthews/Mickey Manner era (lost another championship global game in 2020). Last year, most of Florida won Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final.
