“It only exists when it’s seen as a dilemma,” he replied. Many companies in various fields of the tech industry have not only developed AI capabilities, but also deployed them to enhance their products. Many of these examples are Microsoftit invests heavily in high-profile AI developer Openai.
This question could have been inspired by news from another competitor apple. Last week, Eddie Cue, the company's senior vice president of services, said it was pushing for more AI-driven search capabilities in its native Safari browser.
Pichai noted that Alphabet's Gemini AI platform is embedded in the company's Google search engine, thus producing results in the AI overview box. The plan to adopt the “AI model” will be further developed, which will provide users with a more comprehensive and interactive experience with technology.
Alphabet's AI isn't perfect - just like its traditional search results - but based on personal experience, I'd say its results are useful most of the time.
