Brock Purdy was happy to attend the class.

The graduation season is in full swing, with the San Francisco 49ers quarterback taking a step up a notch in his NFL career, reportedly signing a five-year, $265 million contract to stay in the Bay Area. The professionals are kind to Purdy, who violated odds after he was selected as "Mr. Irlelevant" in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Fortunately for the other quarterbacks in that class, no one has a lot of attention on their failures at the next level due to Purdy's success.

But with the Niners stars locked in the future now, it's time to travel along the journey of memory and take a look at where they are now in a classic yearbook way.

This could be considered one of the worst quarterback draft classes in NFL history without Purdy. Here are eight classmates he graduated from college football with:

Brock Purdy Class

Although Purdy is the last draft pick in the 2022 draft, Purdy is still the headlines. None of the other eight quarterbacks are starting players of their respective teams.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are the only first-round pick since the Pittsburgh Steelers took it away. Later, he failed in two years of starting games, supporting Jalen Hurts after last season, and was later sent to the Philadelphia Eagles. Pickett was then traded to the Cleveland Browns after the Hawks won the Super Bowl and is now competing for work in a crowded quarterback room.

Ridder has been jumping around since he was taken away in the third round. He held a one-year cameo for the Atlanta Falcons in 2023, but didn't have enough jobs to keep him up. The Falcons responded by signing Kirk Cousins and drafting Michael Penix Jr. after being released by Arizona, he struck a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, where he was the reserve.

Willis is a potential first-round draft pick, slid to the Tennessee Titans in the third round. The former Liberty quarterback paid only three games at Music City before being traded to the Green Bay Packers before the 2024 season. Willis found his stance 2-0 in limited action last season, becoming Jordan Love's backup.

Coral has never played in the NFL game after being cut by the Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings. Instead, Coral ended up playing for the UFL's Birmingham Stallion.

Zappe mainly played a substitute role in his NFL career after the Patriots took him away in the fourth round. He had a brief success in the pros when he filled in for the injured Mac Jones. Patriots fans began to speak out that Zappe took over the starter at the time, but ultimately failed him and he has been in the spotlight ever since. Zappe played a game with the Browns in 2024, but returned to the Chiefs in free agency after he started practicing the roster last season.

Sam Howell, round 5, choose 144

Howell is one of the few players on the roster, having achieved any success among professional players. Admittedly, this didn’t translate into a victory, but he started 18 games in three seasons, a tough game to beat. Only Pickett and Purdy have more than three seasons. Howell is now reinstated as the Minnesota Vikings’ backup role.

Oladokun has only one active game in his career. Since joining the league, the 27-year-old has been primarily the Chiefs' practice squad.

Thompson brings Purdy's classmate team to the starter of the 49ers. The former Miami Dolphins are the only quarterback outside of Purdy to start the playoff game. In the 2022 playoffs, he almost surpassed Josh Allen and Bills to lose the game 34-31. Anyway, Thompson started only three regular season games in his career and is now a member of the Steelers.
