Task: Impossible - The final estimate

The highly anticipated eighth film in the Tom Cruise-led spy action series is almost here.

Task: Impossible - The final estimate Cinemas are released Wednesday and see Cruise play Ethan Hunt compete with time to find a rogue AI known as an entity that can destroy humanity.

Many of the comments are positive. Clarisse Loughrey wrote in an independent report that she was awarded four stars, saying she "worships it."

Peter Bradshaw awarded five stars in the Guardian and marked them as "Crazy Entertainment."

But Hollywood Reporter's lead film critic David Rooney was even more criticized, calling it a "disappointing farewell, offering some high-level welcome to the relentless chief actor."

As ever, the film’s social media accounts and trailers facilitate many impressive sequences, including 62-year-old Cruise hanging a helicopter unsteadily.

"Your chin will be disengaged and your palms will leak sweat," wrote John Nugent of the Empire.

How Lockerbie changes how air disasters are handled

The BBC's new six-part drama, Pan American 103 bombingis about Britain's deadliest terror atrocities, when a bomb flying from London to New York exploded above the Scottish town of Lockerbie, killing 270 people in 1988.

A drama that explores what happened after the co-production with Netflix, reveals tough police operations to find out who is behind the bombing. But it also explores the impact on the victim’s family and the immense kindness shown by volunteers in the town.

Its cast includes sex education stars Connor Swindells, Peter Mullan, Phyllis Logan, Patrick J Adams, Merrit Wever and Lauren Lyle.

Kara Weipz's brother Richard, who died in the crash, told me that he "learned a lesson" after she and her family discovered that her brother Richard had discovered her through news reports. Of course, they should tell them in person.

She hopes the drama will generate some enthusiasm after so much pain and pain.

It is on BBC Iplayer and BBC One starting at 9pm this Sunday and will be on Netflix worldwide later on.
