What we know and don't know

The NFL will release its May 14 2025 season schedule, when we get the last sentence about what game the Green Bay Packers are playing. But we already know some details about what is coming.

This is what we know about the Packer Program, and we don't know:

When will the Packers’ 2025 timetable be announced?

The NFL said it will announce all teams' plans for 2025, including the Packers, on NFL Network, NFL.com and its related applications, at 7 p.m. May 14.

ESPN will also play the Best Times Special at the same time.

Which teams will the Packers participate in in 2025?

Although the Olympic date is not yet known, the Packers' 2025 opponents have been announced. They will have nine road games and eight home games.

How do we know that the Packers team has already arranged it?

Will the Packers play overseas, especially against Pittsburgh in Ireland?

We know Pittsburgh will host a game in Dublin, Ireland, and the Packers plan to travel this year as one of Pittsburgh’s rivals.

We don't know the Dublin game's opponent, Packers president Mark Murphy said he thinks it's unlikely to be a Green Bay option, as he believes the Steelers will "protect" the game against Green Bay and host it at Pittsburgh's Acrisure Stadium.

It would be a particularly appetizing ticket if Pittsburgh signs former quarterback Aaron Rodgers signs Pittsburgh – Rodgers hasn't faced the Packers yet.

Aaron Rodgers and other quarterbacks the Packers may see

Everyone's eyes are focused on the marriage between Rogers and the Steelers, as this will make Rogers' schedule in the United States or otherwise. If it weren't for Rogers, it might be Mason Rudolph?

What about the other quarterbacks the Packers union faces? Apparently, the division guys (Caleb Williams of Chicago, Jared Goff of Detroit and JJ McCarthy of Minnesota) will face the Packers twice. This will be the Packers’ first view of McCarthy, the 2024 Vikings’ first round pick, who was injured last season.

Other quarterbacks the Packers will face:

The Packers will have eight home games

It was the season where AFC held additional home games in 17 games, leaving eight home games for the Packers. This means that unless they are road teams, packers are not required to play international games.

The golden bag of season passes (historically, Milwaukee fans) will include the second and fifth home games of the schedule.

When will the Packers see you this year?

We discover this when we find the rest of the timeline. Last year, Green Bay ranked 10th week.

Do we know how many prime time the Packers will have this year?

We discover this when we find the rest of the timeline. The Packers have played more games than any other series over the last 10 seasons, so it seems likely that a few games will be assigned under the lights and of course on Thursday Night Football.

Last year, the Packers competed on Friday night to start the season against Philadelphia in Brazil and then four straight prime time games in the season’s home game. These include two Thursday night games (once once on Thanksgiving against Miami, “Thursday Night Football” in Week 2), Sunday night against Seattle, and Monday night games against New Orleans on Christmas Eve.

The NFL will air a triple game this Christmas - it's Thursday.

How difficult is the Packers planning for 2024?

It's usually a stupid exercise because we can't really measure how a team plays with the record from the previous year, but the Packers use that metric to calm down the fifth largest schedule in the NFL.

Last year, this was the fourth most difficult and toughest in the NFC. This year, it is tied with NFC North’s “Easiest”.

The Packers' 2025 opponents have a winning rate of .557, with only the New York Giants (.574), Chicago (.571), Detroit (.571) and Philadelphia (.561) outperforming the advantages. Minnesota and Dallas are also marked .557.

What is the best game in the Packer Program?

In addition to the apparently fascinating divisional battles, the Packers welcomed the dominant Super Bowl champion Philadelphia, a team that beat the Lombardy trophy in last year’s playoffs. Perennial MVP candidates Lamar Jackson and the Ravens will also be in town.

It's always a fun moment for the Packers to park on the road in Dallas - but if Aaron Rodgers does sign quarterbacks, everyone will clash with Pittsburgh.
