Gemini (archival audio): Focus on bodyweight exercises, squat, stand with feet shoulder-width apart, lower your hips as if sitting on a chair, keep your back straight and your chest lifted. Reduce comfort as much as possible.
Michael Carroll: Lunges with each leg, three sets of 10 each, plank hold for 30 to 60 seconds for three sets, it's torture. Glute bridge, three sets of 15 reps each. And then it talks about progressive overload, it talks about rest days and all those things, which is great. And I thought, "Okay, I don't know how to do lunges. Can you teach me how to do lunges?" And it showed me a bunch of videos, five videos.
Lauren Good: YouTube, maybe?
Michael Carroll: Yes, they are YouTube videos. Two of the links were exactly the same, but I watched all the videos and I thought, "Okay, I feel like I can do a lunge now." I did a lunge, I didn't hurt myself, I felt it so I felt That's good.
Lauren Good: In fact, it's pretty cool.
Michael Carroll: Yes. The only weird thing is that I did a Google search and found the exact same information from a few different places. I don't know where Gemini got this information from other than the video. I don't even know where the recipe for it came from. It all came to me as "this is what Gemini says."
Lauren Good: No supply.
Michael Carroll: No supply. I checked everything but didn't see any good sources.
Lauren Good: Presumably, humans put together these exercise plans or wrote these recipes. That's been posted, sorry, but your teeny tiny bit of data is now chopped up and added to some recipe and you have no idea where it came from.
Michael Carroll: Julianne.
Lauren Good: that's right.
Zoe Schiffer: Okay, so are you going to stick with it? Do you plan to continue using it for this purpose, or does it feel like a one-time experiment?
Michael Carroll: Honestly, the workout regimen is pretty solid. I will keep doing it.
Lauren Good: OK
Michael Carroll: As far as recipes go, I have so many recipes and years of experience cooking for myself that I definitely don’t need to make this quinoa salad again, Lauren, unless you want me to make it and give you some of it.
Lauren Good: I've had other meals you've made and I think maybe I'll recommend these next time.
Zoe Schiffer: So diplomatic.
Michael Carroll: Okay, great.
Lauren Good: But thank you, appreciate you.
Michael Carroll: So I have to say, for me, as a person who knows myself and knows my own needs, that's not very helpful. Great workout. I can also find this without Gemini 2.O, but if anyone is new to this, or someone has a lot of questions, or someone is thinking about making these types of lifestyle changes, it actually does give some really good suggestions.
