West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey (R) continues to pave the way for the “Make America Healthy Again” campaign, launching another health initiative.

During a Wednesday morning appearance on “Fox & Friends First,” the governor discussed the mobile teaching kitchen for West Virginia’s health rights.

The nonprofit “clinic on the wheel” will travel statewide to demonstrate healthy cooking skills, share nutrition information with residents, and perform health checks such as blood pressure readings and body mass index checks.

The governor opened his own home and invited West Virginians to the mansion, allowing families to see how to practice healthy habits on their own.

“People pass by and learn that you can eat at a very reasonable price (healthy).”

He added: "Cooking (this food) is not difficult and it tastes very good."

West Virginia has the highest childhood obesity rate, more than 42%.

This is based on the status of obesity tissue in children.

“In West Virginia, we are working to make West Virginia healthy again,” Morrisey said.

“Because unfortunately, we have led many diseases that really hurt our country, whether it’s obesity, diabetes or stroke or many other items.”

He added: “We want to make sure we reverse these bad trends, you have to bite one step at a time or one time.”

Morrisey shared that the plan was just another step in his four Maha pillars in the mountains.

The state defines the pillars as: cleaning up food; finding purpose, finding health, moving the body; changing life; and rewarding healthy choices.

Morrisey said in a way: “We encourage people to go out and exercise, and I try to lead by example, you know, trying to walk 10,000 steps every day, just encouraging people to go out and walk.”

"We have a lot of traction on the Mile Mile for climbers, and everyone knows the importance of going out to work and walking," Morrisey previously told Fox News Digital Digital.

“It really started to gain a lot of strength in West Virginia.”

The governor said that getting Americans healthy again requires multiple ways to reduce the rate of obesity, diabetes, stroke and congestive heart failure.
