We tried all the brands, and this is how to compare with other tableware kits

Every board is A quality cutlery kit subscription service that can help you learn more in the kitchen while eliminating the painful task of deciding on dinner. This is one of several services that Hellofresh owns, a company I have also tested and liked.

Each license offers some different plans. You only spend $45 per week, two meals per serving ($7 per serving), or fully stock six meals in the refrigerator for a Saturday meal, which costs $150 (or $5 per serving).

Like many other cutlery kit subscription services, each board has filters like “calorie smart,” “fast and easy” and vegan ingredient preferences. Every week, you select meals from the rotating menu, with at least 20 different options. You can skip, pause or cancel the schedule at any time in your account settings.

What makes each deck different?

For you and your family, there are some key differences that can make each card better or worse.

Unlike most cutlery kit subscription services, there is no plan for any special diet, such as Keto, vegan or paleo. Each license says it is to keep the price low. Another difference is what the company provides you with. Most meal kits require you to provide butter, oil, salt and pepper. Each deck may also require you to have aluminum foil, baking paper, or flour - most kitchens still have stock, but that's an important difference because other cutlery package services usually don't require you to provide these types of "Extras". Again, this helps reduce the cost of all boards compared to other dining kits. And, unlike some other services that combine recipe ingredients in advance, each deck sends your ingredients together into a large box or bag. I separated the dry goods and threw everything else into a large freezer bag in the refrigerator drawer. However, you have to fill out these items yourself, which can be a little cumbersome with other ingredients in a shared refrigerator space. This helps keep prices down and reduce packaging. Generally, each board is more affordable than most other meal kits to serve. (As with other services, there are often promotions for new users to lower prices.)

But how does it taste?

During my testing I chose to make pork chops and apricot jam, garlic-flavored Tuscan tomato and mushroom penny, and herb butter steak. When I tested the meal kit, I only used the ingredients provided (unless explicitly pointed out due to the swelling of the situation). I am an experienced chef with full card cookware, trusted kiwi and gasoline-powered stove. I test the service one at a time and do flavor testing recipes with the help of my partner. I will note our initial impressions and comments before further discussion.

All recipes are great. The pork chops with couscous and roasted carrots achieved a perfect balance of sweet and savory, creamy and chewy. Penne dish makes the mushrooms shine, which I think is an ingredient that is often overwhelmed by strong seasonings and flavors. The end result of the dish I made was very delicious.
