Keeping up with the styling team Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald (aka Wayman + Micah) are a full-time job. The Power Duo celebrated a landmark tenth anniversary last year, just ending another Whirlwind Met Gala, with well-known clients like Colman Domingo (one of the co-hosts of the night), Danielle Deadwyler, Taraji P. Henson and Regina King, who are crazy. The pair worked with the new tech-savvy Lei Beer Yuan smart glasses at a styling session to capture the exclusive content behind the scenes. Hollywood Reporter Before Monday’s busy fashion blitz, I managed to catch up with both to learn more about why, how it works, and what customers say about it.
Hi, everyone, first of all, congratulations Front row every day Last week's Men's Best Male Designer of the Year Award, I'm very happy to meet at the evening party. It seems ideal to jump into Met Gala and also a "tailored for you" theme. How do you lift it a few hours before the Metropolitan Conference?
Mika McDonald's Thank you! It's a complete moment when we've ever thought about winning such amazing awards in these spaces. We love Da'vine and we are so grateful to her for showing it to us. As far as the Metropolitans are concerned, we are excited about the day we planned for months and worked hard.
Tell me about my partnership with the tech-savvy Ray-Ban Meta glasses. Why put it into practice in a busy styling day?
Wayman Bannerman We think this makes sense because of how chaotic the day will be. For events like Met, we were running around the room to make sure the client had everything they needed, so using Thunderbolt Glasses can stay still, which is helpful. During the final adjustment process, we are taking notes with and coordinating with the large team.
How do you use Thunder Brown Yuanyuan Glasses for profit during this year’s Metropolitan Festival?
Bannerman These glasses help in communication and organizing. We love using hands-free phones to stay connected with a wider team while capturing the design process and moments we want to go back with our camera or Meta AI assistant.
What is your favorite feature?
McDonald's The camera is definitely our favorite feature. Being able to provide us with free photos will be very helpful for us to quote later or share in real time.
What do customers think?
McDonald's Clients like them. As people in the fashion industry, we and our clients love a good design and everyone commented on the fashion level of the lens.

Bannerman Glasses are so stylish and classic to really wear everything. We like to keep it simple and pair them with the right jeans and simple t-shirts. Or, put on your favorite statement piece and upgrade the look with ray-style metaglasses.
Are you planning to go out at the Metropolitan Party after the party? Do you both have a curfew?
