Waaree Solar Ameratas, a U.S. subsidiary of Indian solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturer Waaree Energies, has signed a solar module supply agreement with an independent U.S. power producer (IPP).
$176 million deal Bolsters Waaree's presence in the U.S. solar market.
The 586MW module will be produced at the Waaree manufacturing plant in Brook County, Texas.
Delivery is scheduled to take place in fiscal years 2026 and 2027 and will be distributed in four projects.
The production will follow domestic procurement components that comply with the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) guidelines, emphasizing the requirements of domestic content.
