Vidcon Inauguration Hall of Fame Inductees include Rhett & Link, Smosh

Vidcon is a fan conference for top YouTubers and other digital creators, introducing the first Vidcon Hall of Fame at this year’s flagship event in Anaheim.

The first Hall of Fame class commemorating the pioneers of online video content are: Rhett & Link, the long-term talk show "Good Myth Morning"; Smosh's co-founders Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla; Tyler Oakley; Grace Helbig; Joey Graceffa; Rosanna Pansino; and Vidcon co-founder Hank Green.

The company said, “will be recognized for its significant impact on digital culture, fanaticism and the creator economy as a whole and their impact on Vidcon itself.” Vidcon 2025 will host special Hall of Fame ceremonies and awards ceremony at the Anaheim Convention Center (June 19-21).

“A few years ago, we sang a song about the worst fears of every content creator: The inevitable fading doesn’t matter,” Link Neal and Rhett McLaughlin lead the fabulous directors of independent media companies. "Somehow, we have managed to continue our dreams in a variety of difficulties and better judgment of the internet for twenty years. We are honored that our long journey (with at least one gray hair) is enough to give us a place in the Vidcon Hall of Fame."

Hall of Fame ceremony will be held during the Vidcon opening celebrations on Thursday, June 19 and will be open to all Ticketedorders. As part of the ceremony, each winner will receive a custom Vidcon Hall of Fame jersey, baseball cap and award, which will be exhibited on Expo Hall floor on Friday and Saturday (fans have the chance to take photos).

“Vidcon has been a top event in celebrating all aspects of the creator economy,” Vidcon vice president Sarah Tortoreti said in a statement. “By introducing a way to honor these iconic creators in our new “Vidcon Hall of Fame,” we recognize their contribution to the evolution of digital culture and its impact on popular culture and the tools of fanaticism.”
