Variety announces 2025 Sundance Film Festival interview studio lineup

type Returning to the Sundance Film Festival this year with the annual Interview Workshop, presented by Audible, the leading creator and provider of premium audio storytelling. The workshop will begin on Friday, January 24, and run through Sunday, January 26, featuring interviews with top talent and filmmakers on projects premiering at this year's Sundance Film Festival. type & Audible will once again team up to host two cocktail and conversation panel events, offering festival-goers the opportunity to hear exclusive, in-depth conversations from today’s most renowned creative minds across a variety of entertainment media, hosted by type reporter.

In addition to the interview studio, type Audible will once again host "type x Audible Cocktails & Conversations” events will take place on the evening of Friday, January 24, and Sunday, January 26. Friday’s panels will feature top creative minds from film, TV, audio and more for enlightening discussions on the evolution of audience storytelling The discussion of sex craves innovative content experiences Ronan Farrow, Pulitzer Prize winner and host of Audible’s Not a Very Good Murderer; André Holland. Holland, actor and producer of “Brooklyn,” Rachel Giazza, chief content officer at Audible; and actor Titus Welliver, “Ricky” — these industry innovators will explore How to adapt their creative processes to engage modern audiences across entertainment media and provide unique insights into the past, present and future of narrative production.

The conversation on Sunday, January 26, will focus on Audible’s The Big Fix: The Jack Birkin Mysteries, starring Jon Hamm, Mad Men, Fargo, Grimesberg , Your Friends and Neighbors (coming soon), Top Gun: Maverick, Baby Driver; Alia Shawkat, Blink Twice, Search Party; Anna Ana de la Reguera, Narcos, Army of the Dead; Aaron Lipstadt, producer and director, The Big Fix; Kate Navin, The Big Fix 》Executive Producer; and Head of Creative Development for Audible North America. The panel will discuss The Big Fix, Audible’s upcoming new cinematic audio drama, and how it sheds light on an often-forgotten dark moment in Los Angeles history through a riveting detective story and an unparalleled immersive audio experience. The new season will premiere on Audible on Thursday, April 24.

The Audible Listening Lodge will once again welcome festival attendees throughout the weekend, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Sundance. Located on the outdoor terrace of Kimball Terrace on Main Street, this beautifully landscaped haven offers moviegoers a comfortable space to relax, mingle and recharge. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Audible's selection of premium podcasts, audiobooks and original works, while enjoying hot and cold beverages and snacks and stunning mountain views. The Audible Listening Lodge is open to the public Friday, January 24, 11am to 4pm; Saturday, January 25, 12noon to 4pm; and Sunday, January 26, 11am to 4pm
