"Little girls looking up to Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlan can find hope in today's action - the Trump administration will not allow male athletes to invade women's private spaces or participate in the women's category," Agent Craig Trainor said in a press release.

“Upenn has the option to do the right thing for his female students and immediately follow Chapter IX fully, or continue to advance an extremist political project that violates federal anti-discrimination laws and puts UPENN’s federal funding at risk.”

Fox News Digital approached the University of Pennsylvania for comment.

“Restore all individual sports records, championships, honors, awards or similar recognitions of all female athletes, stolen in Class I swimming competitions, and are included in the Women’s Category by male athletes.

“Give each female athlete a letter whose personal approval was restored and apologizes on behalf of the university for allowing her educational experience with sexual discrimination in track and field.”

The problem stems from Lia Thomas competing with the women’s swimming team in the 2021-22 season, becoming the first trans woman to win a national championship. Thomas also broke multiple records at school.

Thomas was able to compete at the NCAA Level I women’s level due to the organization’s gender engagement policy at the time.
