UK Local Elections: Labor holds Mayor of North Tyneside; votes calculated in Runcorn's by-election and parliamentary matches - UK Politics Live | Politics
Labour narrowly served as mayor of North Tyneside, with less than 500 votes before the reform
Ben Quinn
Labour's Karen Clark won with 30% of the vote, while reform was 29% and Conservatives were 21%.
The result is that Nigel Farage's populist right party will be a surprise of the night, which will be a major steal of labor.
However, the benefits of reforms appear to be primarily at the expense of labor.
"Victory is a victory. We know these are the parts of the country's real desperate need for change," said Science Minister Peter to the BBC.
"This is a good result for labor. It shows that labor is still in the fight in areas where we are constantly being told we are not."

Pennsylvania reports that British deputy leader in reforming Richard Tice said there was an "earthquake turn" in politics.
He told Sky News Lincolnshire's reforms are "absolutely crushed"with Andrea Jenkyns' Women's Championship, won the Regional Mayor Competition and achieved results for the "very good" party in the county council competition.

"No doubt I think Andrea Jenkyns won the Greater Lincolnshire game for the mayor and I think we're going to have a really, really good night in the county council," he said.
Mr Tice said Runcorn and Helsby by-election were "very, very close, stinging, too close".
He said, “There was an earthquake shift in British politics tonight, and reforms are gaining a large number of votes and seats from the two major parties”.

Farage is expected to have to reach Runcorn and Helsby Byelection. I asked a reform official if it meant they won, he replied with a smile. At the same time, the labor figures look grim. Their candidates still show no signs.

Doncaster mayors have just begun.
A total of 32% of voters voted, which is an increase from 28% in 2021. The postal turnout is 61%.
This could upset Labor, with the current incumbent Ros Jones, who won three mayoral elections, facing major challenges to reform.
Young Party There is a young candidate in Alex Jones, an inexperienced politician in his 30s who is a role model and forex trader.
Whoever wins here will likely be part of the entire council, with the vote to be counted tomorrow, and the result will be in the evening.
If the reforms participate in the Doncaster Commission, it will be the first time since its inception 50 years ago that laborers are not the largest party. In a solid red heartland, this shift in earthquake will tell Keir Starmer everything the public thinks the prime minister and his cabinet perform.

Nigel Farage is believed to be on his way to Runcorn and Helsby Byection Count - Perhaps the signal of British reform so far may be the narrow victory of labor. The result will deal a huge blow to Sir Keir Starmer, one of the safest seats in the party.

We think the close attention of the seats in Runcorn and Hullsby, the results may be quite close. "It's very close," British reform officials said.
The candidate has just been summoned to check out some spoiled votes - those that have not been considered valid votes yet - one observer notes: "I have seen more penis paintings than I have seen in my life." Another said there are many "four letters" targeting all parties.

Richard Tice, deputy leader of the reform UK, said he “no doubt” the party’s candidate “convincingly won” one of the biggest prizes of the night – the mayor of the newly formed Greater Lincolnshire merged county authorities.
Reform candidate Andrea Jenkyns has not yet arrived at the Earl's Center in Grimsby Town.
He has much less opinion on the Runcorn by-election, saying he "heard something encouraging".
To be clear, we have no results for Greater Lincolnshire or Longco.
