UFC CEO Dana White, a longtime supporter and friend of President-elect Trump, talked about how the new administration will strengthen the U.S. economy and unite the country.
UFC president Dana White spoke passionately about President-elect Trump on Sunday night in Washington, just hours before his inauguration.
White spoke with supporters at Capital One Arena, home of the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals and Georgetown Hoyas, about Trump winning the election amid every adversity a presidential candidate might face.

“The people have spoken loud and clear. America wants President Trump back in the White House. Think about it: Winning this election after everything that has happened over the past few years is an incredible accomplishment and a difficult one. An incredible comeback story," he said.
"Think of all the things President Trump had to go through to get back here. All the powerful forces trying to overthrow him: the mainstream media, partisan prosecutors, assassins. What this man has been through is absolutely insane. Only President Trump Could have overcome all these obstacles, all the attacks, and still emerged victorious.
White said that at the end of the day, Trump is a "winner."

"But, you know what? That's who he is. This guy is a winner. I say it all the time. He's the strongest, most resilient guy I've ever met and nothing can stop him from fighting, so for what he loves country.
"He embodies what it means to be an American. We are the strongest, most resilient people on earth, and when we come together, nothing can stop us."
White and Trump's relationship has deepened over the years. Trump was one of White's biggest supporters in his early years in the UFC. White, in turn, supported Trump's presidential campaign.

This time, White spoke at the Republican National Convention and at a rally at Madison Square Garden in the days leading up to the election.
