Twins beat the winemaker for 13th time in a row

Milwaukee (AP) — Pablo López combined three reliefers on three hits, with the Minnesota twins winning the third straight lockdown and 13th straight win on Saturday.

The twins have not allowed to run since the third game of the Twins in Baltimore’s third game with an 8-6 victory in the third game on Wednesday.

According to Sportradar, Milwaukee has been closed in four of its last five games. According to Sportradar, the Miami Marlins were eliminated four times in five games in July 2022.

Luis Torrens walked one of the ninth places in Fernando Cruz (1-2), Brett Baty made the infield shooting percentage and Tyrone Taylor was hit by the court. Lindor's 293-foot fly easily scores a quick pinch of luisangel Acuña.

Reed Garrett (1-1) retired Lemahieu on a Frisbee filled with bases, ending eighth place, with Edwin Díaz winning three straight straight, staying perfect in 10 savings opportunities.

Bear 7, White Socks 3

CHICAGO (AP) — Dansby Swanson home runs and Pete Crow-Armstrong have two runs to help the Chicago Cubs beat the Chicago White Sox.

Miguel Amaya also has two RBIs as NL Central’s leading cubs improved to 4-1 in six games. Matthew Boyd (4-2) hit eight games while throwing six innings.

The Cubs set a franchise record with the seventh consecutive defeat of the White Sox. The history series between Crosstown competitors tied for 74 games per person.

Chase Meidroth and Tim Elko lost for the third straight time to make the last White Sox. Sean Burke (2-5) allowed five runs and seven hits in 4 2/3 innings.

Meidroth led his first career home run through the game. But the Cubs grabbed the control on their second run.

Moisés Ballesteros and Nico Hoerner walk to Amaya's base, who lined up in two singles on the left. Of the two knockout and runners in second and third place, Crow-Armstrong is second in the center.

Crow-Armstrong scored a career-high six runs in a 13-3 victory in Friday's series. The 23-year-old midfielder hit .327 (55) in his last 14 games, with six home runs and 17 RBIs.

Bluebird 2, Tiger 1

Toronto (AP) — Ernie Clement beat two games at the bottom of the ninth inning, and Toronto beat Detroit.

Jeff Hoffman (4-2) won a game in Toronto with a four-quarter streak.

Dragging 1-0, Toronto tied it to the eighth RBI single, hitting Alejandro Kirk by a pinch.

Tigers right-hander Reese Olson walked in one inning and hit six in six innings.

Bo Bichette led the lead single against Olson in the first inning, but the Blue Jays were no longer hitting the Tigers' right-handed hit rate.

Tyler Heineman took the lead in the third inning but was wiped out in the doubles. Olson retired the last 11 batsmen he faced.

National 10, Orioles 6

Shortly after arriving at the stadium, Orioles learned that the team fired Hyde and appointed third base coach Tony Mansolino as interim manager. Hyde directed Baltimore to the 2023 and 2024 playoffs, but this year the Orioles started 15-28, when General Manager Mike Elias decided to make changes, he was caught in his last spot at Al East.

Saturday didn't help. At the top of the first inning, Nationals Captain batsman CJ Abrams was in a routine single, Orioles midfielder Cedric Mullins ran to second base, making a mistake in a fly ball, and his head soared, Washington recorded a single in Baltimore.

The key hit was Garcia’s two singles, but there were two doubles and triple. Since May 14, 2021 in Arizona, the top six players in the batting order have scored in Washington's first six innings.

Kyle Gibson (0-3) gave up six runs and six hits and only scored two.

Light 4, Marlin 0

MIAMI (AP) — Drew Rasmussen threw a season-high four-inning goal, Yandy Díaz scored two hits and two RBIs, while Tampa Bay beat Miami.

Jonathan Aranda and Chandler Simpson played twice singles and ran twice in the rays, scoring in the fifth inning against Mariins starter Sandy Alcantara.

Rasmussen (2-4) beat 7 with his first victory since March 31.

Simpson left in ninth after being thrown out of the plate and collided with Marlins catcher Nick Fortes. Simpson tends to train people to go to the ground and walk to the canoe.

Alcantara (2-6) gave up four runs and five hits in five innings.

Red 4, Guardian 1

Cincinnati (AP) — Will Benson and the receiving latter beat the Hinds Solo home run when they beat Cleveland in Cincinnati's third straight game.

Brent Suter allowed four hits in three innings, then five rescuers combined to allow the Reds to make four hits, including 1-2-3 innings by Luis Mey (1-0).

Lyon Richardson gave up Suter and allowed Daniel Schneemann's solo Homer (his sixth) to lead the Guardians 1-0 in fifth place.

Slade Cecconi (0-1) recovered from the 15-day injury list and started the guardian after recovering from the left-tilt pressure he suffered during spring training.

Cecconi allowed only two hits in four innings, but Benson scored 1-1, leading fifth with his third home run. Benson has played three straight games for the first time in his career.

Philadelphia 5, Pirates 2

Philadelphia (AP) — Zack Wheeler threw six innings, Bryson Stott homes and drove threes, Philadelphia beat Pittsburgh.

Stott launched his fourth home run of the season in third-place starter Carmen Mlodzinski (1-4), and beat two innings in two games.

Wheeler (5-1) released another powerful outing that allowed three hits and walks. This was his second consecutive start without scoring, and he had gone 16 innings without giving up on running.

Bryce Harper had two hits and one RBI. Harper reached base 11 times in his last 17 set appearances, recording seven hits and four walks. Kyle Schwarber won 14 times and 19 times for the Phillies.

Mlodzinski lasted 3 1/3 innings, allowing 4 runs and 7 hits.

Ranger 5, Astronaut 1

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Joc Pederson broke the tie in two home runs in the sixth inning, Wyatt Langford hit a solo in the seventh innings, and Texas beat Houston.

Tyler Mahle (5-1) allowed one game in six innings, keeping his era at 1.47, third in the AL.

The Rangers competed in two of the first three games of the four series.

Pederson scored 0.123 with four hits in the Texas primary this season, following Marcus Semien's singles singles Ronal Blanco (3-4) and drove to his second home run this season.

Langford's home run near Bennett Sousa followed Josh Smith's sacrifice fly, scoring for Sam Haggerty. Haggerty took a walk and was knocked out of first base, but he finished third when first baseman Christian Walker threw in second base low.

The Astros led four hitters 1-0 when Walker scored the following doubles with Isaac Paredes scored 3-2.

Kansas City, Mo. (AP) — Jordan Walker made a home run, and Miles Mikolas shot six innings to lead St. Louis over Kansas City.

Mikolas (3-2) allowed two strikeouts and two walks, and they won three straight games in a row. St. Louis won the three series 7-1 in nine games to the three cities.

Walker connects sixth place. Iván Herrera's two-point single in fifth place was the Cardinal's only hit.

Kyle Leahy allowed two hits in two innings relief, and Ryan Helsley finished four for his ninth save.

Tough loser Noah Cameron (1-1) scored 6 1/3 innings in his second major league start. The 25-year-old left-handed from St. Joseph, Missouri, became the first pitcher to start his career, starting 6 1/3 or more innings without giving up more than two hits.

Kansas City has stranded five runners, having been hit four or fewer runs in seven of its last eight games. Royals have won 38 of four or more times this season, ranking second in the Grand Slam.

Red Sox 7, Brave 6

BOSTON (AP) - Rafael Devers home runs lead the bottom of the ninth inning against Pierce Johnson, bringing Boston back to beat Atlanta for four straight wins.

Jarren Duran had two home runs and two singles for the Red Sox, who dropped 10 of the 15 players.

Atlanta's Matt Olson and Marcell Ozuna hit Lucas Giolito's first inning home runs in a row, helping the Braves lead 5-0 before the Red Sox scored two runs in the seventh game, finishing two runs in eighth place.

Drake Baldwin added two home runs to Atlanta, which lost for the fifth time in just 14 games.

Arrodis Chapman (3-2) eliminated three games in a win inning.

Eli White won three singles and several nice runs in his fourth back-to-back match.

It was Olson's second straight night of being the front end of the home run back to back after hitting a solo shot in Friday's tandem victory.
