I'm very big Hikers, love outdoor activities. Before my husband and I had an eldest son seven months ago, we regularly drove to the National Park - Cassiter, Zion, you called it. Needless to say, I was so happy to be out with the baby this summer.

During my daily routine, I walk around the neighborhood with my kids and stroller/car seat combination (see our guide to the best strollers). It has many benefits, but it is not the smoothest journey. The impact makes my baby's chubby cheeks bounce as we roll over the pebbles and sidewalk cracks. That's why I've always loved Thule Chariot Cross 2.
Thule's sturdy and efficient Swedish design is designed to handle outdoor work, allowing you to ride smoothly on whatever ground you are on. But it's not just walking. By simply inserting the buckle arm, the chariot hangs on your bike and becomes a smooth-wheeled off-road bike. I can't believe how easy and easy it is to be a stroller and bike trailer in Cross 2. For active families like me, Cross 2 makes adventures easier to access and manageable.
Note: You can buy Cross 2 in the Jogging Bundle or using the attached Cross Country Ski Kit. Kansas City is not known for its cross-country ski trails, I prefer cycling over jogging, so I tested Cross 2 by walking and cycling.
You can still buy the original chariot cross, but the Cross 2 includes user-friendly upgrades including an updated cargo bag, an improved folding hinge mechanism, a new hook attachment for one-handed operation, and an easier transition between bikes and trolleys.
It took me about 15 to 20 minutes to set up Cross 2. Since Thule is a Swedish company, most of the instructions are given in pictures, which may be a bit blurry. Still, it can be managed.
Right away, while I was strolling around, I was very easy to manipulate (over 3 feet in height and width) despite being quite large and bulky. It has an aerodynamic design that gives kids plenty of legroom and comes with two 20-inch rear wheels that are solid enough to drive rough terrain. The two front wheels are smaller, with a diameter of about 8 inches, and the levered tug can be flipped when transitioning to bike mode. (I have more bike patterns below.) As I walk with my older neighbors with my baby, the broken sidewalk and awkward bumps on the road can suddenly be managed with Toller. I quickly found myself off-roading in parks and fields.
