Trump's order ends funding for universities that authorize Covid Vax

First on Fox: Legislators will introduce a bill on Monday to place legal force behind President Donald Trump’s executive order, prohibiting federal funds from traveling to universities that still authorize coronavirus vaccines.

R-Ind. Mark Messmer and R-Texas' August Pfluger will put a vaccine-free claim in the Higher Education Act, noting that former President Joe Biden ended the formal national emergency of Covid-19 in April 2023.

In a comment to Fox News Digital, Pfluger said the pandemic “opened Pandora’s box, giving a lengthy list of governments, institutions and companies.”

“When we work to restore common sense and freedom to return to the American people, I am proud to co-lead this legislation to ensure that universities no longer force their students to receive the Covid-19-19-tace vaccine,” he said.

"No federal funding may be provided for any higher education institution that requires its students or employees to receive a Covid-19 vaccine as a condition of admission or employment, or to receive any benefits, services or contracts," the bill reads.

In February, Trump wrote critically that some institutions were “regulating their education” based on the experience of Covid Jab.

"Parents and young people should obtain accurate data on the risks of remotely severe illness related to children and young people, and how to mitigate these risks through various measures and make the decisions accordingly," Trump wrote in his order.

“Given the extremely low risk of severe Covid-19 disease in children and young people, threats to keep them out are an unbearable infringement of personal freedom. This demand usurps the authority of parents and the burden of many faiths.”
