President Trump announced on social media that he intends to nominate Mike Waltz as the next UN ambassador, Rep. Elise Stefanik, RN.Y. Nominated and before being removed from office, he was nominated to continue working in Congress. NBC News' Garrett Haake reported on the White House because the post was about to resign as Trump's national security adviser just hours after the news broke.
