The UK (UK) voted to leave the European Union (EU) under Brexit and greatly supported their trade and defence partnerships after a shift with the U.S. after a shift with the U.S. after Monday’s shift in relations with the U.S.
The group and the UK have reached the biggest deal since the controversial Brexit vote in 2016, with two economic powers agreeing to increase defense ties and cut the traditional tape festival, making it easier for British food and tourists to not only enter the mainland, but also grant EU fishing rights to the UK coast.
The agreements were described as “reset” and advocated by British Prime Minister Kier Starmer, who opposed Brexit, the EU leader, the Commission Chairman, and the Commission Chairman Ursula von der Leyen said: “In a time of global instability, when our continent faces the greatest threat that represents generations, we are united in Europe.”

Although Britain's 25% "reciprocal" tariffs on the Trump administration earlier this month were lowered to limit the cost of exporting up to 100,000 vehicles to 10% - major UK exports to the United States limit costs, the EU has not reached such a deal with Washington and faces 20% tariffs on all U.S. export rates in July.
While EU and U.S. officials are still working to find a deal, Monday's report said that even the existing 10% tariffs have hit the EU in the past 50 days, leaving negative numbers and the group expects growth to decline in 2025.
But it was not only Trump's tariffs that pushed Western allies to re-enter the White House and strengthened relations.

Trump's hard work has driven up NATO's defense spending and his sharp breakthrough with the Ukrainian-aided Biden administration, leaving European allies scrambling to lead after the inauguration.
While the Trump administration appears to have a relationship with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Trump refused to directly condemn Russian President Vladimir Putin, leading to stronger ties between top countries such as Britain, France and Germany, as well as top countries within the EU.
At the heart of the new defense agreement is the UK's ability to obtain an EU defense loan program worth about $170 billion, thus expanding UN defense procurement opportunities.

"Britain is back on the world stage," Stamer said. "This deal is a win-win."
Britain's far-right conservatives like Nigel Farage, a keen Brexit supporter, condemned the recently announced deal.
The White House did not immediately respond to the question of Fox News figures.
