Trump explodes Emmy nominations, interviewed with Kamala Harris for "60 Minutes"

President Donald Trump nominated the Emmy Awards for an interview at the heart of his massive lawsuit against CBS, saying it was another reason for the media distrust.

Trump is seeking $20 billion in allegedly, he allegedly was a person who was interviewed by CBS in the days leading up to the 2024 presidential election.

The Harris segment was nominated for an Emmy Award in the “Outstanding Interviews” category, which angered critics, not surprisingly, Trump himself. On two different programming nights, Harris aired two different answers to the same question, both of which proved to be part of a lengthy answer to the same query.

"It's a total slap for anyone who believes in truth and honest news, and this fake news puff work has now been nominated for the Emmy Awards," he wrote. "Did 60 Minutes and their corporate parents apply for an Emmy Award for illegally forged interviews, or other fake media nominated for such dubious "honor"? These antics are why Americans distrust the press and demand that the media (including 60 Minutes, CBS), CBS and its owners (its owners) be responsible for their corruption and lies, which is our head in court!"

The lawsuit has attracted widespread attention, criticizing Trump for his concern about the First Amendment and the administration’s excessive concerns. I-Vt. Senator Bernie Sanders and other Democratic senators openly lobbying CBS parents for their most important thing is not to resolve the case and give Trump a victory.

Emmy nominations controversial interviews nominated many eyebrows.

“Ironically, some people in ‘60 Minutes’ are popping up champagne for Emmy nominations – the same interviews have put them in legal hot water. This reminds people that these awards are voted for by other journalists (not the public, not their bosses) for these awards, not law firms,” a source familiar with CBS news. Fox News Numbers.

The parties entered mediation in the lawsuit, amid the background of a multi-billion dollar merger planned between Paramount Global and Skydance Media.

Paramount global controlling shareholder Shari Redstone reportedly wants to prevent potential retribution from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which has the power to stop the transaction.

Aside from the drama, "60 Minutes" executive producer Bill Owens suddenly stepped down from the long-running CBS News program last month, saying it was due to concerns about the editorial independence of the show.

"60 Minutes" host Scott Pelley confirmed in the air after Owens announced Paramount's attempt to step in the news magazine's story.

"Our parent company Paramount is trying to complete the merger," Paley said. "The Trump administration has to approve it. Paramount began monitoring our content in new ways. None of our stories were stopped, but Bill felt he lost the independence that honest journalism needed."
