Names, images and similarities are sweeping college sports and governments may need to slow down.

Donald Trump is reportedly considering executing orders to regulate zero trades in college track and field after meeting with Alabama head coach Nick Saban on Thursday.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Saban told Trump that the influx of money has hurt the college movement. Saban doesn't want to stop zero payments, but wants them to "reform".

Last year, Saban urged Congress to step in and make zero “equal” during a appearance on Fox News Channel.

"And I think all players should still exist, not just the paid system like we are now, and whoever raises the most money in the group can pay the most for the players, it's not a level playing field. I think in any competitive venue, you want some guidelines that give everyone a chance to succeed," he said.

Saban says NCAA "can handle" zero Regardless of what changes are needed, Congress “needs to add “national legislation”.

Authorities say Texas footballer told police he was taking recruits to a strip club during DWI arrest.

“Now, once we set guidelines for the future of college track and field, we only have state legislation and that each state is different,” Saban said. “We have to have some protection for litigation. I don't know if this is antitrust law or something else.

"I'm not well versed in all of this to really make suggestions. But I know we need some kind of federal standards and guidelines that enable people to enforce their own rules."

The NCAA passed the rules last week that would allow colleges to pay athletes due to a multi-billion-dollar settlement expected to take effect this summer.

Earlier this week, R-Ala Senator Tommy Tuberville said, "If anyone can help zero, it's President Trump."
