President Donald Trump posted his opening address at the University of Alabama on Thursday night and easily won the crowd.

Trump ruled the state in last year’s election, so he already has the advantage of the family crowd, but he highly praised the school’s athletic program for winning bonuses.

The president calls the university a "special place... legend."

“It’s really a bit special for the players, coaches and fans who pack the stadium and sing 'Dixieland Delight' with pride. We love that. Alabama has changed college football forever.

“The crimson trend has no rest, no exit, and has not won until it has not won. It has been winning. That’s why it has won more games than any college football team in the United States have won in the past decade.

Trump also called the men's basketball team, which entered the fourth place in program history.

“Alabama is not only a great football school, but now one of the best basketball schools in the United States,” he said.

Trump also praised the women's track and field team that won the SEC and then promised again that trans athletes would not participate in women's and women's sports.

The football team lost to Michigan's Reliaquest Bowl, its second-game winning streak to Wolverine, who beat them in the Rose Bowl on their way to the 2024 national championship.
