According to the final voting crime published on Monday, Poland elected Conservative Karol Nawrocki, chaired by President Donald Trump's conservatives.
Navoroki won 50.89% of the vote, winning a narrow victory for Free Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski, who won 49.11% of the vote, according to the Associated Press.
The first round of votes two weeks ago revealed deep differences between NATO and the country on the eastern side of the EU. Nawrocki will take over as Andrzej Duda, whose second and final semesters will end on August 6.
Trzaskowski admitted the failure and congratulated Nawrocki on Monday, thanking everyone who voted for him.

He wrote on X: "I have built a strong, safe, honest and understanding Poland for us. Sorry, I can't convince most citizens of Poland. Sorry, we didn't win together."
U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was shy for Nawrocki at a conservative political action meeting in Warsaw last week, where she also slammed the "weak" European leaders who she believed allowed mass immigration to "destroy their civilization." Neum praised Poland's strict border enforcement, warning that "socialists" like Trzaskowski would take such protection from the Polish people.
Trump hosted Navoroki at the White House in early May on a conservative candidate's campaign.
Under the Polish Constitution, the president has a five-year term and may be re-elected.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was one of the leaders who congratulated Nawrocki on Monday morning.
"Poland retains its national spirit and belief in justice, has been and remains the backbone of regional and European security, and provides each country with a strong voice to defend freedom and dignity," Zelenskyy wrote. "By strengthening each other on our continent, we empower Europe in the global competition and achieve a true and lasting peace. I look forward to maintaining good cooperation with Presidents Poland and Navoroki himself."

With approximately 10,000 troops sent in Poland, Neum suggested that military tie could be deepened with Navoroki as president. One general avoidance of Nawrocki's supporters is that he will return to "normal" as they think Trump has done. The U.S. flag is often seen at rallies in Navoroki, and his supporters believe he offers a better opportunity to connect with the Trump administration.

Nawrocki, a 42-year-old amateur boxer and historian, also responded to some of Trump's language in Ukraine. He promised to continue Poland's support for Ukraine, but was critical of Zelenskyy, accusing him of using his allies. He accused Ukrainian refugees of taking advantage of Poland's generosity and vowed to prioritize social services such as health care and education.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán shared Nawrocki's national conservative worldview, praising Nawrocki's "wonderful victory."

Meanwhile, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen expressed his congratulations on the measurement, emphasizing the ongoing cooperation of the EU-Paland, which relies on shared democratic values: “We are stronger in peace, democratic and value communities. So let us work to ensure the security and prosperity of our shared residence.”
Nawrocki's victory was a comeback of the Law and Judiciary Party, which ruled Poland from 2015 to 2023 when it lost power to Prime Minister Donald Tusk's centrist coalition.

Duda's veto has been a barrier to the fulfillment of certain election commitments by pro-European Union Ivory, such as relaxing restrictions on abortion or passing civil partnership laws for same-sex couples. Some Polish observers say unfulfilled promises could make it harder for Tusk to continue his term until the next parliamentary election is scheduled to take place in late 2027, especially if the prospects for future cooperation with conservatives in his coalition remain unresolved.
