First on Fox: House Democrats are investigating President Donald Trump and his administration to accept $400 million private jets from the Catari administration.
Rep. Jamie Raskin, a ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, led his fellow Democrats in the group in a letter Thursday to Pam Bondi and White House attorney David Warrington.
They specifically asked Bundy to hand over a legal memorandum she wrote to argue for the legality of Trump accepting aircraft on behalf of the United States
"Any legal memorandum that claims to make such a claim will obviously fly before the Constitution's foreign Ayre will clause that expressly prohibits the President from accepting any existence (or any form of 'emolument... otherwise any king, prince or foreign state' unless he has "consensus consent,"

“We are therefore writing to ask you to provide these memorandums to the judiciary immediately, as their analysis and conclusions are clearly the basis for the President’s decision to ignore the plain text of the Constitution.”
Raskin and other Judiciary Committee Democrats have even accused Trump or people on his track of recruiting bribes from Qatar.
"President Trump's remarks express dissatisfaction with the delays in his new Boeing aircraft to serve as the Air Force alone, and the timing of this "gift" suggests that President Trump or his administration may solicit such "good gestures" from the Katari administration," the Democrats quoted Trump's own comments.
“According to President Trump, the plane will not be reserved for the United States, but will be willing to donate to his presidential library after his term ends, further increasing the possibility of such a “good gesture” of the intention to bribe Donald Trump.”
Multiple media reports said Bundy and Warrington drafted a legal memorandum that said Trump accepted the plane and then transferred it to his presidential library "legally allowed."
A source familiar with the discussion told Fox News Numbers that the memorandum was drafted by the Legal Counsel’s Office and signed by Bondy.
But Democrats suggest that the memorandum may not be enough to get Trump to bypass Congress on the issue, noting that Bundy himself has previously lobbyed on behalf of Qatar.

"The Constitution is clear: Congress - not the attorney general or the White House lawyer, is any form of exclusive right granted by a foreign government to the president."
We also need to note that even if the Attorney General plays a constitutional role here, Attorney General Bondi also has a significant and obvious conflict of interest, as she has registered a formal agent of the Katari government in advance and earns money for no less than $115,000 a month. ”
When commenting on the matter, sources close to Bundy said the letter was received by the Department of Justice (DOJ).
In addition to finding the memo itself, the Democratic letter requested any communications and other records regarding the transfer of Boeing aircraft and discussed the legal reasons for the gift.
Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee have little power to force Trump administration officials to comply because they are the minority party status in the chamber.
But since the former president’s first term, Ruskin has been scrutinizing Trump and his inner circle.
The latest letter comes as one of Trump's stops during his diplomatic visit to the Middle East.
Trump has defended his acceptance of the plane several times, believing that he would be a "stupid person" and not accepting it while blasting Democrats' criticism.
"So the Department of Defense is getting a free gift of 747 aircraft to replace the 40-year-old Air Force One, temporarily, in a very open and transparent deal, thus disturbing the crooked Democrats they insist on paying for the plane, and anyone can do it. Anyone can do it! Trump wrote this week in Social Truth.

Senate Republicans said they barely knew when Fox News Digital Digital asked earlier this week.
Meanwhile, R-La. Speaker Mike Johnson revolved around the issue in his recent weekly press conference.
"I'm not following all the twists and turns of the Charter Jets. My understanding is that this is not a personal gift to the president of the United States, other countries have been giving us gifts, but, I'm leaving it to the government. They know more about the details," Johnson told reporters.
Fox News Digital commented to the White House but didn't hear it immediately.
