The "Only Murder in the Building" actor said "Gavin Newsom with the good hair" is talking about "fireproofing" California when he should be focusing on "fireproofing" the state.
"You're talking about Trump this, Trump that. He's not even the president," the 54-year-old said in a video posted on Instagram as fires in Southern California, which have destroyed thousands of homes, entered the Week two.

“You’re not running for sixth-grade class president,” he added, jokingly calling him “Nancy’s nephew,” referring to former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. "Their days are over."

Rapaport isn't the first celebrity to give Newsom a shout-out amid the devastating Los Angeles fires.

The model shared a since-deleted post on Instagram on Friday, uploading a photo of Newsom standing with his hands in his pockets at the Palisades Fire Base Camp in Malibu Laugh with a group of people.
"Why is the Governor of California standing in front of a tailgate laughing???" Durham wrote in the caption of her post.
"Anyone who has experienced tragedy knows there are moments of lightness and moments of sadness, as the governor has said in the past," Newsom's communications director Izzy Gardon said in a statement to Fox News Digital I have witnessed the same situation myself in Los Angeles for three years. “These days, I meet countless firefighters, first responders, and victims of this tragedy. Since the fires broke out last Tuesday, Newsom and Los Angeles officials have faced backlash from celebrities for their lack of preparation and response to the crisis.

"The governor's focus is on protecting people, not playing politics, and making sure firefighters have all the resources they need," Izzy Gardon, the governor's communications director, told Fox News Digital.
Fox News Digital also reached out to Trump for comment.
