Travis Kelce is not ashamed of his past.
The 35-year-old Kansas City chief talked tightly about his college suspension as he was with his brother Jason Kelce New heights Podcast, released on Wednesday, April 30.
Speaking about the 2025 NFL Draft, retired player Jason, 37, reflected Travis being drafted in the third round of the 2013 draft.
"The interesting thing about Trav is that there is no injury. I think you have two things," Jason said. "You get hurt and then obviously your marijuana is a year of sophomore."

Travis, who attended the University of Cincinnati, was suspended in the year when his drug test failed to outperform his sophomore year. The NFL star joked about his brother's word choice, saying, "You say 'marijuana' sounds even more intense. Why does the word sound so intense?"
But Jason focused more on how Travis affected him in the NFL draft.
"You probably were later than you should," Jason said. "I just think it's fun to think back on sometimes, like, all of these concerns about Travis Kelce, like everyone who knows you know you're a good kid. You just messed up the weeds. Sorry.
Jason pointed out that today's NFL players smoked marijuana publicly, saying, "Are we going to do the death penalty?" Travis jokingly replied, "Yes, we are."
But despite the pro team's hesitation, Travis said the draft was "perfect" for him.

Meanwhile, Jason has a unique view on how players who were relegated during the draft respond to future success.
“I just want everyone to be in the draft out of any attention, and if it throws it away, they should do the exact same character attention.” “Like, you should just go and sign the second deal, smoking with a blunt device in your hand, as a sign of paper.”
He added: "I'm not forgiven smoking weeds, but unless you sign a deal for millions of years, you want to say 'F --- you' to everyone who doubts you because you do smoke weeds."
