Top Fantasy Baseball Prospects: Jordan Lawlar

Reminder: This is a player with only MLB qualification for the Rookie of the Year and can only view potential help for 2025.

It's a far distance, and it's the top prospect that can help you imagine your fantasy lineup this season.

1. Roman Anthony, Boston Red Sox

2025 statistics: 29 g, .309/.415/.514, 5 hours, 3 SB, 22 BB, 26 SO on Triple-A Worcester.

Anthony didn’t have a home run over a week ago, but the outfielder still performed well and showed him away from the single-category player in that time frame. He ended the weekend with a three-pointer defeat to Toledo on Friday, and he also added a stolen base. Whether you think about it from a fantasy perspective or not, Anthony is the best prospect in baseball. The Red Sox may want to see him driving baseball more consistently before making him part of the Major League Baseball roster, but it's hard to imagine how long Anthony won't see Boston in the next few weeks.

2.

2025 statistics: 31 g, .357/.441/.643, 6 hours, 12 SB, 17 BB, 31 So on Triple-A Reno.

I said Anthony will remain on this list until he gets the call, but it's the first and forth above this season and I did consider others. Lawlar has scored 9-9 in the last two games, but ended a four-game streak in a row, including four strikes on April 30, and in his last 10 games he cut .462/.523/.741. That will work. Lawlar is doing everything he can to return to Arizona, and although there is no space in the infield, you have to think that D-Backs will come to the conclusion soon, which is a bit of a waste. There isn't yet, but it's coming soon. Prepare.

3. Matt Shaw, 3B, Chicago cubs

2025 statistics: 13 g, .277/.424/.404, 1 hour, 2 SB, 11 bb, 5 soy triple-A Iowa; 18 g, .172/.294/.241, 1 hour, 0 SB, 10 BB, 18 So in Chicago (NL).

Shaw failed during his time with the Cubs. Those who have seen the Xiao know this, while those who don’t have the only way to view these statistics. But you know how this works. You know how hard it is to baseball. You know how many young players are staggering, starting their careers and continuing to be good players. Shaw started slowly after being relegated to triple A, but even after two final matches in the weekend, the infielder turned around. Xiao can't guarantee to help the fantasy roster in 2025, but apparently he has enough to make him a Redraft League contributor this summer. If that wasn't the case, he wouldn't be on this list.

4. BubbaChandler, RHP, Pirates of Pittsburgh

2025 statistics: 6 g, 25.1 IP, 1.42 ERA, .122 BAA, 7 BB, 36 SO on Triple-A Indianapolis.

Chandler was once again impressive Thursday, struck out with a season-high nine strikeouts in five innings while only allowing for a third-tier A Omaha performance. The right-hander has not allowed more than two runs on any outing so far this year, and although he isn't missing bats at a great pace, there is enough punch to get through a slight touch and a lack of self-damage injury to be excited about what he's doing in the International League. Chandler should get up soon, and while the Pirates may not offer a lot of wins, his stuff is enough to get him in line and add him to all but the best teams in the sport.

5.

2025 statistics: 7 G, 35.2 IP, 1.77 ERA, .158 BAA, 17 BB, 43 SO in Triple-A Nashville.

Welcome to the list, Jacob. Misiorowski was excellent for Nashville in a game outside of 2025, allowing five runs. He allowed two runs in his other six games. All. There are two pitches of 70 in his fastball and curves - you can argue about the movement and speed on his heater making it the pitch of 80 - without a doubt, Misiorowski's, this is a starter. The question is whether he can pay enough quality blow to these things, as free passes have been a problem since the second round of drafting in 2022. Added that the brewers did damage to the rotation, and Morsorowski is Morsorowski is the fantasy manager and needs to be paid close attention if they haven't minded yet.

Around minors:

Arjun Nimmala It has shown brilliant glory since becoming a first-round draft in 2023, but these flashes are often irritated by frustration. It's been a month, but so far Nimmala's frustration is the opposite. He has four home runs in his last ten games and has scored .295/.374/.547 in 23 games against Vancouver. Until October, Nimmala still had a relaxed right-handed bat, with better approaches every year, and although he does have certain swings and lapses, his ability to make hard contact also provides him with an average chance of chance. He is unlikely to be the main stolen threat of average speed, but his movement and sufficient athletic ability (with high-quality outstretched arms) can be held on for a brief moment. Nimmala has a lot of room for upwards and it's nice to see him break into it in his second season.

Track and field has the highest prospects in Nick Kurtz's Grand Slam, and their second best prospects may rise soon Colby Thomas. After hitting two doubles on Saturday, the outfielder now hit .296/.364/.504 in 31 games with five home runs and two steals. Thomas won a third round pick in 2022 with a swing on the right, indicating that he will get quality power at the next level, and his acceleration gives him a chance to steal 20 bags in the Grand Slam. He has indeed been eliminated at a less spectral rate at a rate of 288 over the past two seasons, but like Nimmala, despite the punches, his average is not without a doubt. This is not a fantasy star of the future, but he is someone who is following in the reshaping league and has a great chance to help A in 2025.

Trey YesAvage It was a year after Nimmala, Toronto’s first-round draft pick, who was seen as one of the 2024 draft picks after “sliding” to East Carolina’s 20th pick. He looked like this part in 2025, now forging a 2.31 23 1/3 innings with a 36/8 k/bb while bringing opponents batsman to a low-A-type Long Jinsu average. Yesavage averages above average in his fastball, splitter and slide while mixing in a solid curve. The order requires work - most pitchers who are still 21 years old do it - but he usually strikes with those four pitches. Given his experience, it's nice to see Yesavage on a higher level, but it's hard to complain about these results.

Griffin Herring The Yankees, a sixth-round draft pick from LSU in 2024, said his stock had increased in the first month of the season, an understatement. He only allowed the second tour of the season to be Low-A Tampa, in the process, he eliminated 11 times without walking. This gave him a 0.60 ERA and 39/10 k/bb Taotai, in a sample of not too small five games and 30 innings. The 21-year-old offers a plus change that allows the low to moderate 90 mph fastball to work, and he also blends in decent changes well. Add to that and the solid command of these products and the Herring, and a mid-spin arm, although it doesn't sound exciting on the surface, he's a player who can be underrated in the Dynasty/goalkeeper league. The ceiling is important, but the floor is important too.
