Tom Homan says Ramonica McPher should be accused

"She broke the law."

That's the message Trump Border Tsar Tom Homan made clear in Tuesday's "Fox and Friends," when he slammed Democratic Rep. Lamonica McIver, who now faces federal charges involving physical disputes caused by ice on ice in Newark, New Jersey.

"I said from day one, you cross that line, we're going to ask for a lawsuit," Homan told co-hosts Ainsley Earhardt, Lawrence Jones and Brian Kilmeade.

(If) you can't support ice, it makes you feel ashamed. You can oppose President Trump’s immigration agenda, you can protest, but you can’t cross that line. You cannot intentionally stop law enforcement officers, (a) ICE officer. This is a crime. This is a crime. You can't intentionally hide and cover up illegal aliens, you can't put ICE into practice. You can certainly put the people on the ice into practice. The consequences of doing what she does. ”

"She broke the law and we will be responsible for her."

Alina Habba, New Jersey, acted as a U.S. attorney for alleged misconduct against McIver, enforced the law earlier this month in front of Delaney Hall in Garden State, but is dismissing the trespassing charges against Newark Mayor Ras Baraka.

In a letter shared on Monday on X, Haba said McPher “Attack, obstruction and interference Law enforcement violates Chapter 18, American Code, Section 111(a)(1). ”

She added: “The Chief Federal Law Enforcement Officer of New Jersey cannot ignore this behavior, and it is my constitutional obligation to ensure that our federal law enforcement is protected when it comes to enforcing it.”

DEM lawmakers defend "storm into" ice facilities, saying Trump administrators are "all levels"

Democratic lawmakers made headlines during their visit to conduct “supervised” inspections to treat ice detainees at the site. McIver claimed that when Icefield Agents “opted to arrest the mayor of Baraka”, it created an “unnecessary and unsafe confrontation”, adding that the allegations she faced were purely “pure politics” and “purpose to commit crimes and prevent legislative oversight.”

Homan criticized the MPs for failing to book an appointment for a supervised visit so they could visit the facility in the same way as last week’s “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy.

"It's politics. It's politics about public security, politics to common sense," he said.

Homan said the Newark facility is the "best" in the country and that the ICE will allow any member of Congress to visit.

He added: "We have the highest standard of detention in the industry. The facility shames any other facility in New Jersey, any state or local facilities. The facility shames it because the standards of detention are high."

"() detention standards are the highest in the industry, so please visit it, but you can't break into the facility. You can't force yourself to enter the facility, or put your hands on the ICE staff. We won't tolerate it."
