Tom Felton will reprise his role as the evil Draco Malfoy in a stage performance on Broadway.
This marks the first time that the Harry Potter movie stars have joined the spin-off stage production Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
The hit drama ends with the famous wizard story, which has since begun with the end of the book series - opened in 2016 on London's West End, and then moved to New York two years later.
"It's surreal to get back to his shoes - of course, his signature platinum blonde hair - I'm excited to see his story and share it with the world's greatest fan community," Felton said.
From November 11, he will play this role in the Lyric Theatre in New York.
The English-speaking actor featured Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson on screen in the 2001-2011 film series.
Now 37, he will be the first member of the actor to take part in a stage performance, which took place 19 years after the original story ended, with Harry, Ron and Hermione, and Draco all sending their children to Hogwarts.
"Being part of the Harry Potter movie has always been one of the greatest honors of my life," Felton said in a statement.
“It will be a rounded moment for me to join the work because I was also Draco’s exact age when I started performing in Cursed Children this fall.”
He added: “I look forward to joining this incredible company and being part of the Broadway community.”
He also posted a trailer on Instagram where he wore Draco's blonde wig and black robe, then reached for a stick and asked sinisterly, "Scared, Potter?" and then the title said, "Draco is back."
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are the highest-grossing non-music drama in Broadway history, selling more than 10 million tickets worldwide since its 2016 premiere in London.
Currently, it is produced in London, New York, Hamburg and Tokyo.
Broadway production producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender said in a joint statement that they can’t wait to see Felton perform “again again with the depth, gravity and humanity he has always brought to Draco.”
They added: “This is not our cultural moment, and it does not make us lose nostalgia, evolution and emotion.”
"Tom returned to Hogwarts generations to bring a new life back into a beloved story. We are delighted to welcome Tom back to "Home", but also bring a new family: our Broadway company."
Tickets will be sold on June 12 and will be pre-sales two days ago.
Last week, HBO announced the young actors who will play the leading trio in JK Rowling's Fantasy Book series Adaptation.
