To mothers who bring the nation together,
Every year on Mother's Day, we celebrate you with flowers, cards and brunch. But today, what I want to offer makes more sense than a gift or a meal: I want to remind you that America needs you now more than ever.
At the moment our culture feels broken, our family is under pressure, the future is uncertain, it is mothers who hold this path. It is mothers, they own the house and keep their hearts. It is the mother who quietly and faithfully leads the power that cannot survive in this country.

While the headlines celebrate celebrities or political power, I believe America’s deepest leadership is happening quietly, around kitchen tables, next to rideshare lines and hospital beds. This happens through you.
In a culture that values self-care rather than service, maternity is not very suitable. This is a problem
Think about it: Every day, you make a thousand small and powerful decisions for your family. Every lunch is packed, every schedule is coordinated, and every difficult conversation is navigating. You want to manage conflicts, negotiate compromises, predict demands, and assume the future of others. And you are not for applause, not for love, but for love.
That's not a weakness. This is the power of control. That is the servant leader in action.
I witnessed it in my own home. My wife didn't get people's attention. She leads firmly. She did not pursue recognition; she shouldered responsibility. Through her daily sacrifices, our family thrives, whether seen or invisible.

The hardest and most meaningful job in the world: Mom is a hero
Her leadership shaping character, fostering faith and building resilience in our children, is more effective than any platform or podium.
You may not always feel it, but the impact you carry is immeasurable. In a world obsessed with platform and reputation, your leadership reminds us of something better: true leadership is not measured by followers or influence, it is measured by the people entrusted to you to take care of.
Jesus said clearly: “Whoever wants to be the great among you must be your servant” (Matthew 20:26).

Imagine if more political, business, education and church leaders lead like you: don’t hoard the power, but pour it into it; don’t pursue the spotlight, but shoulder responsibility; don’t seek applause, but sow legacy.
Today, I just want to say: Thank you. Thank you for leading perseverance, grace and selfless love. Thank you for perseverance in the invisible moments. Thank you for reminding us that bent down leadership is the most profound leadership that allows others to leave behind.
