Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

Gracie McGraw, daughter of country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, said she has been a "proud and queer, bisexual woman" after tabloid media said she had come out in an Instagram post.

The 28-year-old sent a message to her Instagram followers on June 3.

"Getting my attention, some tabloids have posted an Instagram story yesterday and used it as a clickbait to say I've 'out'."

"Let me be clear here," she continued. “I’ve always been a proud and proud queer, bisexual woman, and I have no other choice.”

Gracie McGraw added that she has “very voiced” in her support for LGBTQ+ rights and community and thanked the media for “giving up this is the light of Pride Moon!!!”

“So many people don’t have family support, love or understanding in terms of gender or gender identity, but only know there is a beautiful community out there that loves and cares about you.”

Gracie McGraw completed her Instagram story, calling on her followers to check on people in their lives and “stay safe.”

The post was posted in a June 2 message she reposted, which wrote in her Instagram story that “Everyone gets more gay now”.

"Happy pride," she captioned the post, adding: "I love queer."

The reintroduction post has led to headlines in several media outlets writing about her, with many saying she has come out or been identified as queer.

Gracie McGraw's parents did not publicly comment on their daughter's sexual behavior, but her father posted a backward photo to mark her 28th birthday last month.

"I can't believe this today 28 years old! Happy birthday to our gracie! You are the light of this world. My lovely girl. So many hearts, souls, respect and yes talent!!! We hope you have the best day ever, knowing you are loved far beyond my love! I love your little girl!"

Gracie McGraw is the child of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, who also share two young daughters, Maggie and Audrey. Last month, the trio joined their father on the Nashville stage while performing in Music City rodeo on May 31.

They performed his 2007 hit single "Last Dollar" which the country star said his daughters used to bring the song "As a Kid."

"They're all grown up now!" Tim McGraw said at the end of the track, giving them a hug. "My girl!"
