Manchester City is negotiating with AC Milan on Tijjani Reijnders' agreement.
The club is discussing the fees, but it is understood that Milan said they want more than £50 million (€60 million) - close to £59 million (€70 million).
City Chairman Kaldoon Al-Mubarak said yesterday he believes it should be more aggressive in the transfer market last summer.
City hopes to correct this time and add Reijnders (No 8 midfielder) on the basis of work in January and also hope for at least one new No No No No No No Not before the Club World Cup.
Reijnders is Dutch International, who has the most goals and assists for any midfielder last season.
