Three years ago Tottenham Hotspur beat Arsenal 3-0 - How has the changes changed since then

Tottenham Hotspurs proved that it was impossible to make Conte happy.

He left with shared consent after summoning his players to “selfishly” and criticizing the club’s culture in March 2023.

They finished eighth and lost to Milan in the last 16 Champions League games.

The second summer, Celtics manager Postecoglou changed a lot and brought the club's all-time top scorer Kane to Bayern Munich.

"This is just Anger's second season, before that, you were before that, Mourinho," former England and Liverpool midfielder Murphy said.

“So the Spurs have had three managers since the end of 2019 and Arsenal has this stability under Arteta’s rule, and they have given the managers time to build something.”

It all started under Postecoglou, with the Spurs top on the top and unbeaten in November 10 games.

However, Chelsea lost a 4-1 house and the Spurs had two defenders sent out to send them to lose 12 of their 28 games and they missed fifth place.

From the domestic market, Tottenham has had a tragic season this time. They are ranked 17th and are facing the lowest score since they were in the second floor in 1977-78.

However, since 2008, after setting up the Europa League final with Manchester United, it could end up being their best season since the trophy.

"It's really bad for isolation this season, but they've also missed the Champions League," Murphy said.

“They really hope they will compete again this time – again fifth this year, but they’ve gotten off the cliff.”

Postecoglou repeatedly pointed out the injury, but the results have not grown since some of them returned.

In the Calaba Cup, they reached the semifinals, defeating Liverpool 1-0 in the first leg and then gently lost Anfield's second leg 4-0.

Murphy added: “I think (their current situation) is a disaster for the Spurs because they have some great young players and they still have some experienced players.

“Their league form and their position this season are still far from what the team should have produced, and ultimately it depends on the manager.

“I think it’s an anomaly that happened this season, their injuries and sometimes lack of confidence.

“I think what the Spurs need to find is the balance between their position in Ange and their position that season, and they are ranked fourth under Conte.”

Spurs fan Howell said: “Looking back, the writing has been on the wall because we didn’t support Mauricio Pochettino in signing and following the players he wanted.

“That’s the case since then, each manager inherits a squad that slowly but surely loses its identity in the process, and there’s always a ‘big rebuild’ needed.”
