United will face the sports club on Thursday night in the return match of the Europa League semi-final tie at Old Trafford.

United took the first game from San Mames with a healthy 3-0 overall lead, but Ruben Amorim and many players have stressed that the game has not been completed and the dust has been put on.

Here are three compelling storylines that can be watched closely before the conflict.

Waiting for the last position

While the tie isn't over yet, United certainly have a foot in the final, and it would take a sharp break to get them slipped away at this point.

It's a frustrating Premier League campaign for the Red Devils, who are currently ranked 15th on the table. The first half of the championship is out of reach now, but Amorim's side still has the chance to save the season by lifting the Europa League trophy.

Winning the Europa League will not only add another trophy to Manchester United's cabinet, but it will also be able to return to the Champions League. Financial growth in Europe's top competition could change their transfer window and greatly increase their appeal to potential contracts.

"For me, at that moment, you look at the Premier League, we are the worst team since I got to the mark. That's my idea. It's my idea. At the end of the season, we can be the worst team in Premier League history to win the European Championship."

"So, we won't change anything. We know this season is disappointing. At that moment, I had to think a little bit more, but I feel that. I still feel this season is the worst season of the last 50 years."

In the final, Manchester United can meet Tottenham Hotspur or FKBodø/Glimt, while the Spurs currently maintain their advantage with a 3-1 advantage in the semi-final tie.

Manchester United are already playing for San Mamés, the venue for the upcoming final.

New Tifo banner

United did their best to create another iconic Old Trafford atmosphere on Thursday, with the club announcing that it is preparing a new TIFO banner to gather fans.

Manchester United confirmed that it would not be revealed until the evening to reveal the exact design of the TIFO banner to preserve the current impact.

The initiative is a collaborative effort between the club and the fan group, and Captain Bruno Fernandes gave the final recognition. The banner will be placed in front of the Sir Alex Ferguson booth halfway and will be lifted from the ground to the roof, accompanied by vibrant pyrotechnic technology illuminating the sky on either side.

This will only mark the second time Tifo Banner brings a championship to the Dream The Theater.

Alejandro Garnacho watches Cristiano Ronaldo's record

Garnacho's outstanding strike in Sunday's 4-3 defeat at Brentford marked his 24th goal against Manchester United. This is just a statistic from Ronaldo, Ronaldo, to reach 21 years old.

The Argentinian was not 21 until July 1, which gave him a chance to surpass Ronaldo's statistics, which was five times won, which was won after joining the United from Sports CP in 2003.

When asked about Wednesday, Garnacho compared Ronaldo, insisting that his entire focus was to help the team overcome the game against the sport.

However, it is very likely that Garnacho will put his sight on this achievement, as it will put him on par with football idols.

Manchester United starts with athleticism at 20:00 BST.
