"Ultimate Fighter" returns for season 33 of this month, but with a unique twist. The coach will be the UFC Hall of Fame transformed into Analysts, rather than hosting the UFC's hopeful active fighter, but former tag team champion Daniel Cormier will lead a team opposite to Chael Sonnen, the former two-division champion.
TUF has been the main pipeline of UFC talent for years, providing a handful of champions and even more MMA stars for promotion. Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Michael Bisping, Kamaru Usman, Robert Whittaker, TJ Dillashaw and Rose Namajunas all won the championship after the show.
Over most of the past seasons, the show has allowed fans to see what fighters have to go through to get a chance to win a place on the UFC roster, while also giving them a sense of tension between coaches before future games. Two coaches who have long retired may not be like this this season.
The TUF match of this season will be aired on ESPN2 and ESPN+ on May 27, which will be aired in the middleweight and men’s lightweight. The results of this season can be found at the bottom of this story.
