The oldest man in the world, sisters Inaya Canabaro Lucas, died this week at the age of 116.

Lucas is an avid football fan and is also remembered by the Sport Club Interacional, a professional football club founded one year after Lucas was born.
"We say goodbye to our sister, celebrate her spiritual and compassionate legacy, and commit to strength to her friends and family," the organization wrote in an article on X.
According to the Geriatric Research Group, the title of the world's oldest man was transferred to Ethel Caterham of England, who, in 115, was considered the last surviving subject for King Edward VIII.
