The Dallas Cowboys have been working on their issues, and the entire 2025 offseason was like a long therapy session. After deciding to revamp the coaching staff in January, the team began working to address their 2024 rosters that were compounded by the retirement of future Hall of Fame member Zack Martin.
It's an ongoing process from free agents to weeks after the draft. Even before starting QB Dak Prescott lost in the second half of last season, the offense was in chaos, so it could solve a lot of tons. But through all talent collection pathways, including deals, the Cowboys have improved the Moorbanese in their recent accounts with the League Office to flirt with their top ten rankings.
Bleacher's report ranks No. 11 to 2025.
The recent deal against George Pickens has finally given the Cowboys WR2 after Ceedee Lamb's goal to lead the NFL in the past two seasons.
Dallas also has a brand new backcourt with veterans Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders as well as rookies Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah.
Pickens' addition should have a cascade of the rest of the catchers. The Lamb's target may drop slightly, but the opposing defensive ability now must be threatened twice regularly. It also means that the tight part cannot be divided, opening up opportunities there after the disastrous season of the group. Online, adding first-round pick Tyler Booker has a long way to go to replace Martin.
Dallas has re-signed several depths at Kavontae Turpin and Brock Hoffman, and then added more help in the offensive line and receiver position. Robert Jones and Saahdiq Charles could have started with pinch, but the Cowboys interior was ridiculous as Booker dragged the cowboys.
Low-cost talent is a necessity for cowboys because they spend a lot of time elsewhere. Prescott remains the highest paid quarterback in the league, and it's a big deal. The Lambs are the third highest salary WR. All in all, the Cowboys spent $158 million on their offense in 2025, the fifth in the league.
In fact, based on their offense spending, the Cowboys should be in the top ten. Time will tell if they can produce these results.
