Columnist Jemele Hill, who dropped to the fifth round of the weekend, offered her own views over the weekend and was taken away by Cleveland Browns.
Hill appeared on Tuesday in a "Show with Stugoz's Dan Le Batard" and refuted Sanders' narrative of being in trouble in the draft because he was a confident black man, and experts claimed throughout the weekend that even accused the NFL team of blamed each other to ensure former Colorado Buffaloes fell.

She didn't think Sanders' draft slides were "fundamental" about race and made suggestions to her black people.
"The most important thing is that maybe we should accept that fact - that's not to say that Shedeur Sanders can't continue to work in a great NFL career and can't do great things - but maybe we, because black people need to accept that Deion Sanders might have exaggerated his hand," Hill said. "And he didn't commit a crime, injected all the confidence in Shedeur. I wasn't bothered by the bend of the wrist.
Hill pointed at the Baltimore Ravens in the first round to choose defensive end Mike Green. The former Marshall's outstanding performance has faced charges of sexual assault in the past and set a record for the school with 17 sacks in 2024. The Ravens said they conducted a thorough investigation into the claim.
"In the NFL, they're making these talent decisions, but if you're talented, he won't flash everything, flash anything, flash anything," she said.

Hill also lamented the lack of attention in the first-place CAM ward as the whirlwind covered Sanders throughout the weekend.
Ward spent a stellar season with the Miami Hurricanes after transferring from Washington State. Ward is a zero-star recruit who entered the college ranks with the word "incarnation". He ended up betting on himself and proved to be one of the best quarterbacks in the nation.
"But I'm really sorry for the guy that's Cam Ward. Cam Ward was the first in the Cam Ward. Cam Ward was a zero-star recruit from the home of two parents - because you know how we want to throw it on something respectable," Hill said. "He was a great player, confident, did everything, drafted the first place, and people thought Shedeur was doing it wrong so wrong, like they basically made Cam Ward sound like he was Steven of "Django."
"And I think, you don't even know this kid! Suddenly, he painted with this light because 'Oh, the NFL would accept that black, but not this black.' Like you know how many players there are, how many black players are leading the way in the Shedeur Sanders?"

Ward may be the first week starter for the Tennessee Titans, and Sanders will have to rise to the depth chart, hoping to get some playing time in 2025.
