In September, Apple launched its latest smartwatches, launching the Apple Watch Series 10 and a black version of the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Every wearable device has its own pros and cons, and the same goes for the second-generation Apple Watch SE, but the recent launch of new wearables also means there are now more Apple Watch models on the market than ever before, and there are More offers.
But with all these options, which one should you choose? Generally speaking, you want to buy the latest watch you can afford so that it can continue to receive software updates from Apple. The latest update, watchOS 11, rolled out in September on Apple Watch Series 6 and newer, finally leaving those still using an older Series 4 or Series 5 behind.
That being said, choosing a watch from the latest (or most recent) generation ensures you’re getting a smartwatch with an updated design, powerful features, and plenty of sensors.
Now, let's get down to business.
Apple Watch Series 10 Best Deals
Apple Watch Series 10 represents the latest wearable device in Apple's flagship product line. It features the new S10 SiP chip, faster charging, and a wide-angle OLED display that's brighter, larger, and easier to read than previous models. It's also half the weight of the Ultra and is about 30% thinner, despite coming in the new 42mm and 46mm sizes. Other upgrades include the addition of depth and water temperature sensors, as well as new FDA-cleared sleep apnea detection capabilities, the latter of which also works with the previous-generation Series 9 and Ultra 2.
While these improvements are certainly welcome, the Series 10 isn't all that different from its predecessor, the Series 9. That being said, it's currently only available on Amazon and Walmart in a 42mm size, with GPS, starting at $383.28 (about $15 off) — a far cry from its all-time low of $329. Meanwhile, the GPS-equipped model is available at Amazon and Walmart for $411.91 for the 46mm version (about $17 off), while the LTE model is on sale at Amazon and Walmart for $479.36 (about $20 off) .

Apple Watch Series 9 Best Deals
In 2023, Apple launched Apple Watch Series 9 and the second generation Ultra. It uses Apple's latest generation S9 SiP chip and second-generation Ultra Wideband chip to enable onboard Siri processing and pinpoint lookup on select iPhone models. It also has a brighter 2,000-nit display and supports Apple's nifty "double-tap" feature—two little features also present on the Series 10.
The Series 9 has been out for over a year, but with the arrival of Apple's newest watch, certain configurations are becoming harder to find. Luckily, the GPS-equipped Series 9 is still on sale at Walmart for $279 ($150 off) for the 45mm configuration, and $309 for the 41mm configuration ($90 off) at Amazon and Best Buy. There are some deals on LTE models with cellular connectivity, too, but none of them reduce much from the current price of LTE-equipped Series 10 models, so they're excluded.

Apple Watch SE Best Deals
Apple Watch SE was updated in late 2022. It has the same chipset as the Series 8, which is great, but it has fewer sensors, no always-on display, and a slightly dated design compared to the Series 8, Series 9, and Series 10. These omissions may keep some people from participating, but it could still be just what you're after. Best of all, the 40mm Wi-Fi/GPS model starts at $249, which is $30 less than the base cost of the previous generation. Opting for cellular connectivity raises the starting price to $299 for the 40mm size (44mm adds $20 per configuration).
Currently, the best deals on the latest Apple Watch SE can be found on Amazon and Walmart, where you can pick up the 40mm model with GPS for $199 (a $50 discount). Meanwhile, the 44mm configuration is available on Amazon and Walmart for $229 ($50 off). If you want the LTE configuration, the 40mm configuration is currently on sale at Amazon and Walmart for $249 ($50 off), and the larger 44mm configuration is on sale at Amazon and Walmart for $279 ($50 off), This is its typical selling price.

Best Apple Watch Ultra 2 Deals
The latest Apple Watch Ultra, launched in September for $799, supports GPS and LTE and is very similar to the original model. This ultra-powerful smartwatch has the most features, sensors, and ruggedness of any Apple Watch model to date, and has a display that's 50 percent brighter than the first-generation Ultra. Like the Apple Watch Series 9, the 49mm smartwatch also features Apple's S9 SiP and second-generation Ultra-Wideband chip, while maintaining long-lasting battery life, accurate GPS tracking and a range of diving-friendly sensors.
In recent months, we've seen select configurations of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 drop to $642 ($157 off). However, it's currently only available on Amazon, starting at $749 for the Trail Loop ($50 off) and $759 for the Alpine Loop ($40 off). You can also buy the Ocean Band on Amazon starting at $734.89 (about $64 off), which is about $45 more than the lowest price we've seen on an elastomer-equipped model.

Notes on more advanced models
While all of the Apple Watch models and colors featured here have aluminum casings (except the Ultra 2, which comes in titanium), Apple does make its more premium series out of stainless steel and titanium. These products are similar in functionality and aesthetics to their aluminum counterparts, but with slightly more refined colors and finishes—polished for stainless steel and brushed for titanium. However, they start at much higher prices at $699 and up. They're also often on sale, but they're never discounted less than the standard base model, so we're not including them here.
