The "Arcane" team unpacks the last season, teasing more Caitlin and VI

Six months ago, the final episode of Arcane: League of Legends may have hit Netflix, but the fan enthusiasm of the Emmy Award-winning series isn't dying.

On May 10th, sold out type In Alhambra’s gallery Nucleus (which currently contains a collection of the concept of “Arcane” and a tribute artwork from over 30 artists), the creativity behind “Arcane” unpacks the epic final season and teases the next step of some fan favorite characters.

Screenwriter and executive producer Amanda Overton said the emotional final moments of the series (Ella Purnell) and Hailee Steinfeld were conceived six years ago when Arcane was first attended to the workshop.

"It should have been a season at first. That was nine episodes. The battle you saw in Season 2 was actually the end of Season 1. After they finished the writers' room, we decided to move it to this story. We're going to spend a whole season and make money now," she said. "The first version was a tragedy because they didn't solve any problems. In Season 2, we have to give them."

The sisterhood of Jinx and VI is always the guiding light in the series, but the extra space offered in the second season is very beneficial: Caitlin (Katie Leung) and VI. Season 2 ends with the young women after finally admitting how they feel (and the ups and downs of the way back and forth as the war between Piltover and Zaun breaks out). Their relationship also includes a lively love scene that became the most captured moment in Netflix history.

“I want the conflict around them to come together to make it the heart of the story, but not this story. I'm tired of conflict and drama being "I'm gay" or "I'm going to come out." We canceled all of this through the world building of the exhibition, just saying it is not a homophobic world. ” Overton said.

Barthelemy Maunoury, co-director of “Arcane” and creative director of Fortice production, said getting the couple’s first kiss right is one of the most important tasks for the animation team. "Everyone in the studio is so excited about it. The animation takes a lot of time. We animate half a second a day, so we usually avoid long shots. It's the longest shot on the show: 40 seconds. It took an animator three months to get it animate, but we know we have to do a good job."

Asked questions from a fan about the future of Caitlyn and VI's relationship, "Arcane" performance host and executive producer, and Christian Linke, the head of Riot Games animation studio, declined to elaborate.

"Well, that's a tough guy. I have to say there are no comments because...you never know. It's a mean answer, but it's in your favor." He said to the audience, entirely made up of stubborn fans. Link had previously ridiculed that although "arcane" has ended, there is more in the universe. It is safe to say that fans would be happy if it was derived after Caitlyn and Vi were implemented.

Overton eagerly shared his thoughts about where the beloved couple can go next. "These characters are young on the show. They're like 20 or whatever. We haven't seen VI yet, or frankly Caitlin is an adult. The show is they're an adult." "Now they're going to ask themselves, 'When I don't have anyone to protect, who am I? Because all the shows she does try to protect people outside of herself."

Overton elaborates: “Find out who VI is, what she wants, how she fits into being a policeman, who she decides to fight for, why – these are stories we haven’t explored in detail yet. Is she a fool investigator? Are they a crime duo? Are they a wider world and other champions?
