Texas Technical Softball clash with Mississippi State for regional championship

Nijaree Canada became very comfortable with the Texas Tech softball team, and she started shooting skillfully with her home run.

In the second game in the Lubbock area, Canada offered a pleasant home run. It was two shots at the bottom of the fifth inning, making it a 7-1 match. Her home run on Saturday caused a stir after Canady's home run safely on the trash can when she shot nearly 300 feet on Friday.

"This is the first for me, so it's absolutely exciting," Canada said.

Lauren Allred made his final inning with three home runs, sending the Red Raiders (47-12) to the regional title with a 10-1 win in the sixth.

Canada's home run was at the bottom of the fifth inning after Mississippi State ended the closed-end inning at Texas Tech. The Red Raiders have maintained their team ratings in each of the first four games and have led their opponents 42-1 in the last five games.

In the circle, Canada improved to 27-5 this season, hitting five innings, hitting five innings and allowing five hits. Glasco believes Mississippi State has taken a good attitude towards Canadians, although this does not have enough offense to keep pace.

Allred finished the game with five RBIs before the three-point shot. Alana Johnson continued to hit the ball 3-3.

Demi Elder, the longest Red Raider, hit a solo homer at the bottom of the second inning, igniting a spark in Rocky Johnson's crowd of Fields.

"It's just an incredible experience to get out on the court and be supported by such a crowd and such a program," said head coach Gerry Glasco. "More than all my expectations, I can't tell you how much I appreciate it."

Mississippi survives chaos elimination game with Washington

The Bulldogs can only recover from the loss to Texas Tech in just a few hours and then beat Washington in a win or win game between the two teams.

The high-scoring event lasted nearly three hours and won the summer when Mississippi State sent Washington home with an 11-10 victory.

Now Mississippi State will try to rebound again. The Bulldogs will need to beat Texas Tech twice to advance to the super area, while the Red Raiders only need to win once.

Having been 10 runs at Ace Raelin Chaffin, it took 128 balls to go through 128 innings with the Huskimos 5-2/3, the task could be even more difficult.

“The biggest thing is, Mississippi State head coach Samantha Ricketts said, “It’s a point for us to see how fast we can recover.” …Lyrin, not her best game, but we have a lot of trust in her. We won't be in this situation this year. ”

Huskimo dogs hope to create regional appearances through remodeled groups

Heather Tarr has been long enough to see almost everything, but last year's four players on the team were certainly an eye-opener.

The Huskimo team has only four seniors this year, led mainly by lower graders such as Alexis Deboer, Jadyn Glab and Sophi Mazola. Taal hopes entering a high-risk offensive game with Mississippi State will help push the team forward.

Taal said: "The best season we created comes from situations like this, you can start from the end of last year and start next year. I can't say that last year. Our plan exploded. Our plan exploded. Our difficult events happened and got people out of the plan, and that didn't happen.

“For these guys, basically it won’t even blink, and now we can do it with this group again, which is cool.”

Washington running victory eliminates Brown

The Brown Softball team hasn't been to the NCAA area since 1997, and the Bears' accommodation in Lubbock is short.

After defeating Texas Tech 6-0 on Friday, the Bears beat Washington with a 13-5 run in six innings Saturday to eliminate from the tournament. Brown played with the Huskimo after a 8-0-2 innings decline. The Bears ran five runs at the top of the third inning, but couldn't get close.

Washington ended the game with a three-game losing streak to end the game as early as possible.
