35 years old Matthew Labrot Reportedly fired Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) to build a website that criticizes the CEO of the company Elon Musk.

what happened: Labrot, who held a management role and trained Tesla sales staff, set up a website called "Tesla Employees Against Elon," a business insider reported Thursday, an open letter from the company, to replace Musk as CEO.

"I'm very happy with my position, and I could have continued to play the role," Labrot said in the report. However, since his acquisition of Twitter (now X), he has begun to doubt the billionaire and his support for the Trump campaign ahead of last year's presidential election.

Labrot said Musk's political views influenced Tesla's sales because customers abandoned the brand. He also said Tesla's leadership did not adequately guide employees on how to deal with "protests and vandalism" against the company.

Labrot also sprayed his Seibock-style messages with anti-Muske messages every day after establishing his website as a sign of protest. He was subsequently fired to “use company resources to build websites that do not match the company’s views,” the report suggested. Labrot denied the claim and continued to participate in Tesla protests.

Tesla did not immediately respond to Bensinga's request for comment.
