TechCrunch is joining forces with Vivatech, Europe’s largest startup and technology event, to select the startup of the prestigious Vivatech Innovation, Vivatech’s annual innovation for 2025. This partnership will highlight the outstanding creativity, technological creativity in exhibition startups, and the industry transfers generated in exhibition startups.
The Vivatech Innovation Award of the Year recognizes and celebrates Vivatech’s 2025 exhibition startups, demonstrating outstanding innovation, advanced technology capabilities, and the great potential to revolutionize their respective industries.
TechCrunch will curate the finalists of the top 30 candidates, appoint a jury member to help select the top 5 finals, and will be on stage at Vivatech on June 11 and join the entire jury in the final awards speech. On June 12, TechCrunch will also serve as the official host of the Vivatech Global Awards Ceremony, and will announce the winners of the five Vivatech Awards, providing the host for the hosting ceremony to lead the event with introductions, rewards for transitions and ending moments.
Five finalists will receive a valuable opportunity to pitch on the Vivatech stage on June 11, get an introduction from venture capitalists, enjoy an exclusive network with jury members, gain high visibility in the Vivatech marketing channels, and receive two other 4-day passes to participate in Vivatech 2025.
The Innovation of the Year winner will also present a place in the competitive Disrupt Startup Startfield 200 at the flagship annual event of TechCrunch in San Francisco, California in October 2025.
Vivatech Annual Innovation Award Qualification Guidelines:
- Must be a Vivatech 2025 exhibition startup
- Built after or after 2020
- Less than 50 employees
- Select 5 finalists - June 4
- Finalists Contest at Vivatech - June 11
- Vivatech Global Awards Ceremony - June 12
