Taylor Swift by Justin Baldoni

Taylor Swift was called in a legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, the consequence of the film End With Us.

A spokesman for Swift denied any involvement in the film. type Apart from using her song "My Tears" in the trailer and a scene: "Taylor Swift never stepped onto the collection of this movie, she wasn't involved in any actors or creative decisions, she hasn't seen edits on the movie or seen any notes on the movie, she hasn't even seen it travel around the world after public release, and toured around 2023 and traveled for the 2023 time.

Swift's subpoena is linked to a defamation lawsuit by Baldoni in January, which included text messages between Lively and her co-star and director Baldoni, where the former seems to suggest that Swift is "one of her dragons." In the lawsuit, Baldoni filed a lawsuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, who claimed the couple hijacked the film and tried to destroy his public reputation through false allegations and sexual harassment.

Although Swift was not named in the lawsuit, her name appeared in a text message sent by Baldoni to Lively, and was considered the "Megacelebrity Friend" mentioned in the document. The texts involve a rooftop scene in the movie that is allegedly redesigned in the script. The lawsuit noted that Lively summoned Baldoni to her penthouse in New York, with Renault and "Megacelebrity Friend" praising Lively's live version. Bardoni's lawyer said he "feels obliged to post texts saying he likes her page and does not need Renault and her huge friends to put pressure on him."

"Working on the roof scene today, too, I really like what you do. It really (helps) a lot," Bardoni wrote in a text message. "It makes it more fun and fun. (I would feel like that without Ryan and Taylor) you are really full-blown talent. It's really exciting (and) happy to do that together."

Later, Lively sent a text that mentioned Reynolds and another person whose name was edited as "Absolutely Titans' writer and storyteller, writer and storyteller outside their main show." She also compared herself to Khaleesi, the Dragon Control Queen in Game of Thrones and suggested that she had a strong power in the corner. "My dragons also protect the people I fight for," she wrote. "So we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You promise you too."

A Swift spokesman dismissed the subpoena to spark media attention in the case. "Given that her participation was licensed for a song for the film, but 19 other artists did it for it, the document is intended to use the name Taylor Swift to attract public interest rather than focus on the fact that the case is being held," the spokesperson said.

Bardoni's representative did not respond immediately typeMake a request for comment.

Although Swift's spokesman denied that she was involved in the film, "End With Us" actress Isabela Ferrer told Extra that Swift allegedly played a role in making her cast. She said she was “in getting late discoveries” and that Swift was “a useful part of the audition process.”

The legal battle between Lively and Baldoni began in December when Lively submitted a letter to the California Department of Civil Rights claiming that Baldoni had sexually harassed her and was involved in the 2024 smear campaign against her. Baldoni sued $250 million in publications on New Year's Eve after a report released by the New York Times, accusing them of defamation. Lively then sued Baldoni for violating federal and California laws, prompting Baldoni to file a $400 million lawsuit in January. Both Renault and the lively people filed a motion to dismiss the libel lawsuit, believing it was revenge for proposing sexual harassment.
